It was in the Commy but it would fold up like a piece of tissue paper if it hit anything. The 320d would probably barge a hole through the opponent.

    $75 Telstra vs Xtra

I recently switched from Telecom because the savings were a bit too good to ignore, and combined our MySky with it, total saving of around $40 per month, but went from 20gb to 60gb. I've noticed no loss in speeds. If you're using the crappy Vodafone/Telescum wireless routers this could be the prob, I get 1mbit more for some reason on my U.S Robotics router. It was bloody expensive but very high quality.

I had this happen again today in the same place. Fantastic fun it is!
  4. Handy work repairing the headlining ha.
  5. There is a section for such a title?
  6. Visit My Website Feast your eyes, custom custom custom!
  7. Those things sound like the devil gargling his throat, they growl like nothing else at low RPM full pedal.
  8. Go for a 530d They are excellent on the open road which is where it will spend most of its time, they are also quite a big car (commodore/failcon size)
  9. Yer & once they pull you up on it there's no backing down!
  10. It's a E46 2000 model. It's averaging about 6.2
  11. Our little 320d manual is getting well below 5 on the open road, unless your open roading has some hills in it I guess. The RL figures and claimed figures are relevant as they both increase slightly for RL figures.

    The GC Show

No one here has mentioned the snatch that is on this, I don't deliberately watch this program as I think the footage should be sent to the tip but there is some quality crumpet on it!
  13. It makes even more sense in a larger car when talking about this subject over and over but when I work things out, a F30 320i is still slightly more expensive to run than a 320d and the 320d is a much nicer car to drive IMO. Workings on topic as per the topic of this thread but with a brand new 320i/d $44.31 x 30 @ 2 tonne (30,000kms) = $1329.30 for RUC Petrol for the year @ quoted 6.0L / 100km would cost $3960 @ $2.20 per litre Diesel for the year @ quoted 4.5 / 100km would cost $1984.50 @ $1.47 per litre Registrations @ $560.92 for Diesel & $431.06 for petrol - 30,000kms p/a - a 320d diesel will cost you $3874.72 (REG, Fuel) - 30,000kms p/a - a 320i petrol will cost you $4391.06 (RUC, REG, Fuel) Ok, so only 500 bucks a year cheaper @ 30,000kms, or if he intends to own for 5 years, $2500 saving. IMO the Diesel will fetch more when it comes time to sell. They 0-100 times are the same, same 135KW, but 380nm diesel vs 270nm petrol, diesel far superior on open road. Even though the fuel consumption figures are 4.5 for diesel vs 6.0 for petrol, on the open road the diesel will be even more economical than the petrol. The two cars also are the same RRP. Don't go French IMO - You'd be a deaf man if you'd never heard stories of reliability.
  14. We were only after 8500 for the car IF we were going to sell but the size thing just isn't favorable for you. From this perspective, if you did spend 20-25k the whole game would change and you'd recoup a lot of money from buying a more expensive cheaper to run car than a cheaper 15k petrol car, i.e E60 530d ? Just get a warranty, not for the engines as they are pretty reliable but the rest of the car lol. They are about for circa 20-25k and they travel brilliantly on the open road & the 500nm will put a big smile on your chops! Visit My Website Visit My Website Or this if you like sleeping on the couch That Motorsport is rather good looking IMO.
  15. Also, considered one of these http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/...n-478816025.htm
  16. Buy my 320d, she's done 214kms but is super reliable and gets below 5liters per 100km on the open road.
  17. I guess if it's one property it isn't in the best interests of the land lord to become GST registered as the income isn't likely to exceed 40k, however when a LL company owns several it would then be in it's interests to become GST registered therefore although not visible there would be a GST content in the rent payments as the company would have to pay GST. Sorry to get off track!
  18. So the land lord isn't paying GST on the income?
  19. I moved to Australia for over a year back in JAN 2004, came back mid 2005, bought all my gear over there, TV's some furniture e.t.c. and when I bought it all back they bought their hammer out and nailed me for what was about 1200 dollars in GST. No smiles on my face that day. GST is bullshit here IMO, necessities such as food and residential tenancies shouldn't have a GST content.

Ok, so with the new law now with regards to give way I'm confident all here are starting to find it better than before, at least I am. It makes for a faster time especially in town. What I am still f**ked off with and confused with is on a twin way system turning into. If I'm turning right into a one way system (with two lanes in the same direction) people are still coming across into my lane that I am turning into (see pic) I hope this explains things, I was under the understanding that when turning left into a dual lane system you had the right of way regardless of the new rule as the opposite traffic had to turn into the first available lane FIRST, then indicate to turn into the farther away lane??? What I'm saying is, "car 1" should have clear course to turn into their first available lane regardless, yet "car 2" should still have the right to turn freely into their first available lane also (their first available lane) however if car 1 turns into the farthest away lane in which the have the right of way they are turning into a lane they shouldn't be???
  21. Isn't that the case with every BMW unless it's like a 116i ? I want a 335d Motorsport. Can anyone spot me one ?
  22. You'd catch bird flu, pneumonia, cataracts, osteoporosis of the eyebrow and depression if you drove that thing up to Christchurch in this weather.
  23. It's rare here but not in the U.K - you'd be looking at big coin I'd imagine for a new hood or any new parts, Ford NZ would be able to close early for the day if you ordered the parts through them...
  24. Ahhhh, I could almost guarantee you'd look a spanner driving that Mike ahahahah! WHY?
  25. Atleast he wasn't sniffing her underwear whilst they were on...
