I'm not too much of a fan with the wheels on it, I'd love a set the same as THIS The 535d has the twin turbo unit. Exact same engine as my old X5, but the X5 did feel alot quicker than this 530d purely because it was remapped. If this goes ahead I will be remapping it to give it the same kw and torque, then it will be a different story. I must add that it's extremely tail happy when you push in the DSC button and hold it down to turn the driver aids off, I gave up smoking about 6 years ago when I got back from Australia, but I've taken it up again it seems?1?!!?! EDIT : Does anyone know what those wheels are called on that 530i ?? FOUND THEM : 128 wheels

Picked this up today at lunch time and have it until tomorrow, looked at a 525i that had there and it looked great in black, but I love this charcoalish colour on this 530d it has miles more grunt than the 525i They want 35k for this one, done 118kms which isn't too bad IMO - comes with 24 month warranty. Needs towbar and different wheels, the spoked M sport wheels look tough on these E60's THIS was the 525i Decisions decisions!

They featured this on episode 7 of Fifth gear, looks a tough little unit IMO.

Yes! My ML was quoted at 2700 at the dealership and it's not an AMG. When I sold my CLK-55 AMG the guy rang up six months later and some 10,000km later wanting me to pay for the brakes on his car which were quoted at 5k fitted!!! I can assure you, it wasn't a very lengthy conversation.

From the pics the condition supports those kms. Genuine keeper - has to be 10k ?

There's a switch hidden below (near where bonnet release is) which activates that dual mode LED on the pillar and an audible tone. I remember seeing this on a Porsche 996 vert a friend of mines old man bought a few years back.

The 2nd pic is obviously the front and you can see the two radar detectors in the grille, the one before that in previous post I thought was the jammer. The LED on the pillar goes green/red when switched on. There is also 2x of the same sensors in the back bumper.

I suppose recording it on your cell would be the easiest best way, but fark, it drove me NUTS in my old E60. Especially when a sensor had failed on a 500km trip.

IMO they are overpriced for some reason at the moment, I mean I sold my 4.6is with 80km about 3-4 years ago for 50k THIS facelift 4.8is is better buying providing it's a good one, like in comparison.

Yeah the ML I looked at was 32500, with 69kms, the cheapest 4.6is 35grand and has 157kms To be honest I'd prefer the X5 as I know them and I've owned a 4.6is before and IMO they look better and feel a bit better aswell.

Yeah it has to be a hit and miss mate, TradeMe I thought would have been the best place to market the parts. Get a mate or someone you know to ring around asking for prices and availability on the parts and that they need them urgently, then ring them back yourself offering them for sale! - then the guy who wanted them mysteriously dissapears!
