They're hiding. Where in the Country are you Mark? I could be interested if you aren't too far away and if I miss out on this M3 I'm bidding on... EDIT: sorry, just read the whole thing, in CHCH which isn't far away! Cheers.
-
Could do as there's little around at the moment. But here's hoping
-
All good, I've put an auto-bid on, will see how it goes, I was hoping for under 25k, although bidding is active.
-
Rough vague idea of what it's worth ladies?
-
Something to keep an eye on? M3
-
They obviously brung in M3's with MPH on the speedo then? He also said that the mileage was MILES not KMS.
-
I enquired about this M3 a few months back, he said it was NZ New but couldn't help the MPH on the speedo?

I've bought the 13 pin which works a treat. I had a spare 7 pin lying around which just wouldn't fit.

As topic suggests.... Wondering if anyone has come across lights out there that draw enough amperage to pass them off as standard bulbs. The system I have at the moment makes any euro flash too fast and make some not work at all. Most euro cars now need to enter into a "trailer mode" when woken up by plugging in the trailer plug. If not enough amperage is drawn from the lights on the trailer then it doesn't enter this mode thus causing problems.

Nah it's not Narva this one, some other orange brand thing. Looks good quality.
-
Yep, they generally are, lower wages lol! ended up getting one at Merk Benz for $180inc GST.
-
Hmm, appears that, supercheap, repco, B&T, TWL don't have them nor never heard of them ffs!
-
Hmm, I agree, Hamner Springs then to Nelson, didn't think of that! Better drive too.
-
I doubt Bill Gates could even afford the upkeep on something like that, it screams wallet deflation IMO.
-
Thanks Jon, much appreciated!

As far as I can find out my MB ML320 CDI needs a 13 pin euro socket converter. Does anyone know where I can get these from? About to try the dealer tomorrow but would like to escape OEM costs if possible...

If your starting off from CHCH, head north to Nelson, then cut inland over SH6 to Westport then Greymouth, head down the west coast, (Franz Joeseph e.t.c.) stay on the west coast road which will take you to Wanaka, then you can do Queenstown, and through Qtown you can reach Te Anau and Manapouri, if you have the time do the Manapouri dam tour it is epic. Head back to Omarama which will hook you onto Twizel, Lake Tekapo, you can get to Christchurch easily from there. I'd take about 5 days to do it, depending on weather or not you have kids really! I've created this for you! LINK!

Lovin the number plate on the Quattroporte!
-
I'm off to Auckland in about an hour or so, none of them could have it here until later next week meaning I'd have no car, got some cheap flights, costing about 600 including fuel to get it back, this way I'll have a car!
-
Thinking about getting one for the ML. Because I only hang onto a car for 3 seconds, who has warranties that are transferable? I obviously need something that suits a Euro diesel also.
-
I have trouble hanging onto a car after 3 months, dunno how I'd manage that, credit.

Auto Despatch : $1050 Jeffs Haulage : $1299 Captain Transporter : $982 Kiwi Car : $414 (only to christchurch tho)

Ahaahhahaha, gold! With house renovations/vehicle repairs it's never a good idea to polish off a case of double brown prior to commencing work.
-
Thanks for that, will call these guys aswell. Cheap enough to fly up to CHCH these days.
-
It was two weeks and it was done over several kegs of double brown.
