  1. Yes but they did a great job on all the repairs though...
  2. I've tried Jeffs haulage and they are $1300 and Captain Transporter is $980. Does anyone else here know of another company I can obtain a quote from?
  3. I have. Either they're too expensive or left a message and no one got back to us lol.

    Tuesday funny

Hahaha very good. The southern accent made it even better IMO.
  5. And the dealership wouldn't take it back? Don't you have the right of return within 7 days?
  6. Hmmmm! Did anyone checkout that 330d link I posted a few posts ago lastnight? I'm 100% sure they had 56,990 on the 330d silver. It's now 59,990... The reason I question this is because I asked for a price with the car with a factory towball/bar they came back at me this morning with 62500! This post HERE
  7. Cheers mate, not every car is everyone's cup of tea. Even the dealer was blown away at the price I've paid. When I said 40 he said it must have been a low mileage previous shape. he said there has to be something wrong with it, but we'll see after the inspection on Thursday. The owner said they wanted it gone, they've replaced both directors cars and the vehicle owes them little on the books with devaluation.
  8. LOL yeah but IMO so is an old skool Mazda
  9. The cheapest is an import petrol, IMO you can't compare a diesel to petrol & an import with 143km lolHere's a list of ML's Mercedes Benz SUV/4WD search post 2005 Still a 25k difference though, maybe not six months, my normal 3 months, if I did loose on it it would be minimal, There's few of them around in the south island, it's a location thing, many people can't be bothered with the 2000km trip nor can be bothered with buying something site unseen. It's the cheapest ML by a longshot in the country & providing it checks out as being ok by Coutts Merk it will be in my driveway early next week!
  10. Because I'm paying 40k for it, the cheapest one in the south island is 65k and it's done 120km! That's a big difference no one could ignore.
  11. A 535d is like 80k + lol I'd prefer a 335d personally, that 330d I drove today was gob smacking.
  12. For what I paid for that ML mate, I can drive it for 6 months and know I'll get what I paid for it. Like the X5 it will cover all bases. If things could pickup this year I'd love a M3 Cab. Edit : or even another CLK-55 - they are so cheap these days.
  13. 99% Done deal on that ML Mercedes, he's discounted it heavily to sell from the asking price. The deal is subject to a Mechanical inspection from Coutts Mercedes.
  14. Absolutely remarkable, good news for the brand IMO - I have a mate with the same Kia as ours and he is the hardest person on gear I've ever come across, it's done 80km and not one problem.
  15. They squeeze an awful amount of power out of that little 4 cylinder engine mate, has there been any reliability issues as of yet?
  16. Sorry guys, I wouldn't discount a Kia any day of the week, they are excellent cars. The sorrento is a bit fugly IMO, but the Sportage is one of the best looking cars to come out of last year IMO. It's just a bit small for what I'm doing (if I was to use it to replace the X5) Our Kia Rio diesel is still going strong, never missed a beat.
  17. Epic & fkn relentless, blown away, I thought the 320d was good until I drove the 330d, whole different ball game.
  18. I test drove 2x 3 series today, a M320d and a 330d The 320d is one of the best handling cars I've ever had the pleasure of driving but did lack a bit of grunt. Then I drove the 330d and it was a complete fkn animal. If anyone here has driven a 330d they will know what I'm talking about! I've never driven anything like it, they must be awesome remapped. I still need an SUV though, but driving these cars today made me re-think a bit! 330d
  19. Bahahahaha! Brilliant! Only in america.
  20. There was nothing girly about my CLK-55 - especially it's hammer like performance!
  21. Mandatory pre-purchase inspection, but that's a hell of alot of car for 10k.
  22. I heard that the build quality is like a cheap Mitre10 shed, massive gaps in some fittings e.t.c. I do like the look of the brand new shape though, damn it's good looking.
  23. Love em, would buy one in a heartbeat, subject to history and a pre-purchase inspection! I've driven the 4.5V8 and I can honestly say it doesn't have the same get up and go that my X5 does at the moment (420nm vs my 600nm) it would probably have much longer legs and would pass me after 80kph but most of the fun is between 0 and 100! So therefore it would have to be a twin turbo twin intercooled version. I found one which ended up being re-listed for 46,500 done just under 100km, but the guy mucked me around, wouldn't let me pay for a pre-purchase inspection and wouldn't send me any more pictures, was difficult to deal with. Because I hadn't cashed mine up at that stage, I applied for finance, became approved then the guy vanished. This is it here anyway Visit My Website One I test drove Visit My Website
  24. Ahahahahaha! Yeah, my boxster needed a RR wheel bearing when I bought it, that was a 800 dollar job.
