I need something that I can bash around in for work, the X5 is getting too much of a hiding mileage wise and damage wise which is why I've kicked it to the kerb and leaving it parked up during the week and then using it on the weekends. A smaller easier to park car that I can leave in carparks, rugby pass computer components into and be fine with driving it in the wet weather is what I'm after. Cruising around in my 60k pride & joy should be for weekends & not for throwing computers in during the week. Basically, I want something I don't care about or have to worry about.

With it, it's as if everything is slightly magnified, also there's a cool looking purple holographic type haze over it, does anyone know what this is or what it's for? Makes so much difference, the old one was pitted and munted, that & a massive crack on the passengers side... Meant to ask the guy what the purple haze was but he did say that the screen was just over $3000!?!?!!!! Thank god for insurance hey.

When the chap came up he took the back seat out and it was leaking from around the fuel pump which is kinda inserted into the top of the tank. For some reason it was pressurising. In the year that he had it he never filled it to the brim, I did today and he's blaming that LOL!?!?

The guy said it could be an airlock why the car is overheating. It cools down when driving but when idling it overheats.

As soon as I got it home after testing it out and PAYING for it, it overheated, fuel was pissing out everywhere, gushing out from underneath the passengers rear door, check light keeps flashing, some other red light wont go away brakes? $1800 for the 320i The 320i is going to be better up hills than a 1500cc Corolla!

Very sensible buying for a sensible person haha but would prefer the cheaper BMW, they want 2000 aprox for the 320i. There's alot of hills in Dunedin, I think the 6 will be a bit better on them.

I've sold my little Suzuki. Need a car today, have been looking all weekend and there's so little around that it's disappointing. What there is around it's just way too expensive IMO. I've found this E30 today and another in the weekend, have seen the 320i and it's in reasonable condition. 320i 318i The 320i would make more sense as there's more room for all my gear. I need an honest opinion on what I should be paying for both of these cars. Do the 320i and 318i need cambelts?

One thing to state, I was in at our local BMW dealership three weeks ago I suppose. Asked them to find me something, emailed them a week ago to ask for an update and nothing have had no response, called and left a message, no response. When your dealing with a dealership like a BMW one, or any one for that matter I think it's a wee bit poor to be honest.
