  1. I don't have a problem with child support. My dad paid mum child support until I was 18. We couldn't have survived without it. I didn't think child support was being reviewed though?
  2. wasn't most of that blackmail money? I'm sure I read that one of the hookers was blackmailing him real bad if Lisa Lewis' prices are anything to go by, I'm sure it would be very easy to spend that amount of money I wont post a link to her site because it's R18 her price for one night (7 hours) is $7,000 I think that may be on the rather high side of pricing though (I wouldn't have a clue) ... but I would imagine if someone was willing to spend a few million on hookers that they would get high class high cost hookers
  3. I was on a benefit after I finished college. I will admit that I was too lazy to find a job ... well it was more like I didn't want to work in a supermarket or mcd's. After the 1st year of been on a benefit, I decided that I should study something to try to better myself and get a qualification. I don't see any problem with the reforms they are talking about. If you're on an unemployment benefit for more than a year and you haven't bothered to apply for any jobs, or haven't bothered to go to winz every few weeks and look at jobs online with them, or haven't bothered to go to the courses / job experience that winz provides, then yes you should have your benefit cut. I appreciate that there aren't enough jobs for every single person in NZ, but that doesn't mean that you can't at least try to look for one. In regards to the DPB ... my mum was on it until I was old enough to go to kindy. Since kindy was only for the mornings, mum would work in the morning and pick me up after work / after kindy was finished for the day. Once I started primary school, mum went back to work full time. I don't see any reason why a solo mum or dad can't start looking for work once their children are at primary school. I do think it would be very wrong to force any parents to work before their children are at primary school. Again, it would only mean that they have to actively be looking for work, not just cut them off because they don't have a job. Sickness beneficiaries ... mum fell into this category when I was about 10 years old. She actually physically could not work. All winz made her do is take a form to her doctor and get the doctor to complete it. I don't see why this needs to change. If a doctor is satisfied that a person cannot work due to health reasons, then that's fine, give them the sickness benefit. But if the doctor reckons they can work, then the beneficiary should be moved onto the unemployment benefit. If the beneficiary disagrees with the doctor's decision, then go get a 2nd opinion. I know that it is hard living on a benefit. I've been there and done that and it isn't fun. Although I think it was actually worse living on the student allowance than the unemployment benefit. If you can work and you don't put in the effort to look for work, then I don't see any reason why my tax money should fund your lazy nature.

    Scratches?

people have no respect I very rarely park my car in public places any more, and when I do I always park as far away from everyone as possible
  9. Half day - finished at lunch time
  10. Yea I feel I am being managed out (and quite a few other excellent staff members are also feeling the same way) .... yet it is not justified at all. All of us that are feeling this way are the hardest workers, we've all gone way above and beyond what is required, and the quality of work is always top notch. Absolutely no reason for the management staff to be treating us this way. The only way they're going to learn is the hard way unfortunately. And when that happens, I'll hopefully be with one of the competitors and will be able to sit back and laugh at them screwing themselves over. Oh and they're also monitoring my emails without HR approval. I understand that my work email isn't private, but they do actually need to get proper approval to monitor emails (it's clearly stated in our email guidelines from IT and HR) ... which I know they haven't done because HR would never approve it without there been a very good reason (ie performance issues). If they had issues with my performance, they haven't had the courtesy to talk to me about it so I can improve - but I am absolutely certain there is no reason for them to performance manage me because I know I am good at what I do and I've never had complaints from clients.
  11. yea I've made lots of friends at this place and when I leave I would love to help them out as much as I canI'm definitely not going to bother complaining to my team leader's boss, she is just as bad as the team leader I am on first name basis with the CEO though, I'd so love to tell him what's going on with his employees they're basically going to screw themselves they seem to be forcing out all the good workers and they keep praising the brown-nosers who are actually the worst at their jobs oh well, they wont realise this until they start losing a lot of clients ... which I'm already hearing a lot of complaints from clients I used to look after (I've recently changed roles but still within the same team), because they're now been looked after by the useless brown-nosers who can't do their job properly lose clients, lose money, lose profits, lose credibility ... seems to be their motto
  12. heck no, I heard the E36 dash is quite a tricky one to take off and put back on too ah well, I'll leave it there as sort of a piece of history for a mechanic to find one day lol
  13. thanks for the comments the place has been getting worse and worse to work for over the last 6 weeks, ever since the new team leader started I have a really good feeling about the interview I went for today so fingers crossed I can give the current a-holes my resignation next week I'm even starting to write down all the stuff I want to bring up at my exit interview
  14. lol sweet as yea it's the first time it's ever happened to me
  15. nope not a call centre just a standard office job where everyone could be away from their desks at the same time and it would not be a problem

    My mate Noel Leeming

    now that's hot!
  17. haha yea mate, I've already been deliberately asking rather loudly to go for a piss and every time I print something (which is a lot) I've been asking loudly if I'm allowed to go get my print off no reason for this that I can figure out I'm their hardest worker, I'm always going way above and beyond my duties I always take 30 minutes lunch instead of my entitled 60 minutes I hardly ever take a morning or afternoon break unless maybe they have an issue with me getting up once an hour to make a coffee
  18. lol awesome movie although at the moment, my life is a bit more like Falling Down thanks to my horrid boss
  19. They've been doing more and more stupid stuff like this recently and I've had enough. I had an interview with one of my competitors today I actually thought my boss was joking when she brought this up, but nope she was serious. Just another insane micro management type boss that doesn't seem to realise it's actually counter productive.
  20. Wellington Page European 04 382 8218 pageeuropean@xtra.co.nz Excellent service, excellent customer service, warranty company lets me take my car there, very knowledgeable guys that work there. Thoroughly recommend them if you're in Wellington city.
  21. Um righto, so the latest micro-management bullcrap that my boss is trying to pull on us now is that we need to ask permission to go to the bathroom, and have to tell her every single time we are getting up from our desk to go to the printer, get water, have a break and give a reason why. Seriously? Is that even legal in an office environment? I can understand in retail, because you need staff to be on the counter. But in an office? I'm pretty sure that they are trying to make all the experienced staff leave so they can replace them with newbies at half the cost. /end rant
  22. Ok, so I parked in a pay and display parking building today. Went away and did my stuff, then came back to my car. When I went to grab the pay and display ticket off the dash, it slipped just out of my reach. I tried to claw it back up but it slipped down behind the dash. Not the aircon vent but further behind that in the dash right under where the windscreen meets the bodywork of the car. How the heck am I going to get it out? Do I have to take the whole dash off or is there another way? Or could I just leave it in there? I'm worried that it's going to block a vent somewhere behind the dash, or maybe sit on some wires, heat up and start a fire. E36, pre-facelift coupe Cheers
  23. yea those ACS kits are pretty choice eh seen a black E36 around town with a full ACS kit found a pic on Bimmerforums showing the ACS side skirts, rear bumper, spoiler and wheels http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showp...amp;postcount=6 my mate has ACS wheels and a full ACS kit on his E34 535i, it really transforms the car and it looks fantastic, just a pity about the paint on his car, it's a wee-bit rough
  24. When is the last time it had a service?
  25. here's what mine looks like m-tech kit allround and one of Nick's subtle but awesome lip spoilers m-tech rear bumper vs standard
