  1. I notice around the car parking place in the city that a huge majority (at lest 90 to 95%) of cars are either silver (varying shades but mostly lighter silver), black or white ... usually the remaining ones will be very dark blue Makes my car easy to spot though
  2. have a look at these links http://www.acc.co.nz/for-business/small-me...y-less/BUS00054 http://www.acc.co.nz/for-business/small-me...ounts/index.htm a link to a list of auditors http://www.acc.co.nz/for-business/small-me...y-less/BUS00056 and also this might be useful, but do not do this without professional advice as it isn't good for every business http://www.acc.co.nz/for-business/small-me...y-less/BUS00052 let me know if you want to get professional advice, I can get someone to contact you (they will charge a fee but they are very good)
  3. I thought the top model was just called the Nissan GT-R and the Nissan 350gt was just a rebadged Infinity G35 for different markets (Infinity is Nissan's luxury line) so the 350gt might have the power under the hood, but if it's still a luxury car then it's probably not going to have awesome handling like a sports car would
  4. saw a poor bmw crashed on SH2 near Silverstream on the way home today looked like someone had rear-ended them
  5. last year in September when I was re-evaluating my insurance, the only company that said they could do actual agreed value cover was AA (and wow was it going to cost a lot) be very careful with the wording of the policy even if the company says it's agreed value on the phone, it might not actually be a true agreed value policy
  6. the increase in acc levies on vehicles is nothing when you look at how much the levies for businesses are going up (some industries are going up by 80%!!) and it's only the first round of increases acc is billions in debt and this round of increases wont be anywhere near enough to fix it, whether it be car rego or earner's levies ps. for you business owners, did you know you can get discounts on your acc levies by requesting an audit from acc (which you have already paid for by paying acc levies) there are 3 tiers of savings ... 10%, 15% and 20% ... depending on what health and safety protocols and procedures you have in place (and it's very very easy to get the 10% discount)
  7. spotted a rather nice looking E46 M3 in peak hour this morning ... Wellington, just after the interchange heading into town, about 8am EBG777
  8. Page Euro has been good for me maybe try Jono http://jksoutherneuro.webs.com/
  9. yea it's probably not the fastest, but it's great fun that road mum used to live in Raetihi, so I got to go over the Para Para's a few times they are straightening it out though, so one day it might be the quickest route
  10. spotted an E46 compact with the plate .... M1 BMW hmmm, pretty damn far from an M1 oh and there's a red E36 parked a couple of doors up from where I live, has been there a couple of weeks without going outside and having a look, I think the plate is CHF920 Totara Park Road, Upper Hutt anyone on here? if so, pop down to my place and say hi, I'm right across from the open house on the corner

    POLLEN FILTER

this thread helped me to find it .... http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=14148 once I knew where to look and what to look for, it took maybe 10 minutes good luck
  12. did pretty much the same thing the direzza's I had on there were absolute rubbish in the wet hasn't happened at all since putting the bridgestone's on there the direzza's were so bad, that my car would spin up in the wet at traffic lights with very little throttle (less than 1/4 throttle) had to wait for huge gaps in traffic when coming out of side roads because I couldn't get traction
  13. yea have a read of this thread, that Served guy is the man!! http://www.gpforums.co.nz/thread/382668/
  14. the local Shell did that to me last night, I just stood there with my hands on my hips staring at the guy until he turned the pump on they would have had both my face and my licence plate on camera, and it was only 7pm, no reason to turn pre-pay on just for me (other people were turning up while I was standing there and none of them had to pre-pay) [edit] one day I was getting gas and a car pulled up next to me, he had no plates on his car, so the guy turned pre-pay on that pump, now that is fair enough

get a v6 petrol one? my mate had one for a couple of years and he gave it absolute death and it still kept going he used it for 4x4'ing and also for towing another mate's 4x4 on the trailer I don't think it was too kind on gas though lol
  16. I have factory Msport suspension and it already scrapes on my driveway, my mate's driveway, and some shop driveways (nearly beached it trying to get into Noel Leeming Lower Hutt on Wednesday) no way can I drop mine any lower, unless I don't want to take my car anywhere lol
  17. 3 times in the last year we have used my girlfriend's car to go up to see my mum 1st time ... 2 days before we were due to leave, someone rear-ended her and caused a 4 car pile up (which included a very new 5 series) 2nd time ... day before we were supposed to leave, a bus changes lanes while we are along side it (we were right by where the driver sits) and it rams us and fast forward to today ... we're due to go to see mum in Taupo tomorrow, and what-do-ya-know, I just got a text saying that some lady has just rear-ended her (I guess I better go put gas in my car lol) my car has a bit of a wedding curse 1st wedding I went to in it, it overheats on the way (thankfully almost right outside a gas station) 2nd wedding, I skid on snow and smash up the front left hand corner 3rd wedding, overheats again, but again I was just around the corner from a gas station, so I guess I have some luck haha I never take my car to weddings now lol
