According to carjam, my average is 62.5 km/day - which is about right since I usually go for a long drive almost every weekend. The purpose of driving is the driving itself
-
Some people are just retarded... person in first video shouldn't be allowed to drive. Too bad there is lots of people like that around who just switch off their brain once they get inside a car.

Lots of cool BMW wallpapers http://cars.desktopnexus.com/cat/bmw/4

Thanks for all your suggestions, I'll give touch paint a go first and see how it goes. As soon as I recover from my injury that is I'll definitely consider stone guard once I've painted all the chips. Cheers
-
Thanks, I might try brush-touching on few of them to see what it will look like, but I think there is too many chips for this to be efficient. Now the question is which places in Akl are recommended to go to for a quote?

I've got quite a few small stone chips on front bumper, around headlights and some on the front part of the bonnet. Not really visible from distance, but once you get close it looks ugly, white spots on black car. Any suggestions as to what is the best way to deal with this? I thought about using touch up paint at first, but there is so many of them that this doesn't look like an option. What is a good place in Akl to take the car to so someone can have a look? Not planning to do this right away, but would like to sort it out in the next couple of months. Just looking for different options at the moment. Cheers

Used to happen to me on my old PC at work, but not anymore.

Had a look at TM but couldn't find one to see how much they go for. So I'd say $30 is probably reasonable.

Came out of my 2000 E46. Make me an offer. Pickup from Ponsonby. Cheers

I take it you are in a support center... feel sory for you And yes I assumed the same thing, but you know what they say about assumption... And if I assume wrong, it will come back to me to re-do it (in general).

For your amusement... this is the sort of cr*p that I have to deal with on daily basis. Those of you in IT industry can probably relate to this Client: We are sponsoring Wind Up your Wife on The Rock this year – have you ever heard it? Its on Wednesdays and is really funny. Anyway if we wanted to play them through our XYZ website what would be the best way of doing this? We would only need 10 available at a time. Project Manager: Need a solution for this - + quote Me: Need a bit more details... have no idea what they want. PM: Ok I will go back I mean WTF? Does this look like a "requirement" that I'm supposed to do something with? The joys of IT...

Personally I'd go for a 328 or 330 coupe. And if you're after comfort, get one with leather seats... well worth it.

My diet for the last couple of days has been rice crackers and tea... coz I had food poisoning on the weekend Probably good time to start eating healthy foods again

Even with ASC... managed to spin out my e46... it was really wet and happened day after I bought it. I had underestimated what the car could do:)
-
Ugly... but kind of expected that. IMHO E46 was the last good looking car they produced.

Boil some red wine and drink it while its hot... don't drink too much, a cup or two

I drove thru on Sunday when I was going to Orewa (and I have a german plate). Thought I'd try the new road, and got stuck there for over an hour. Not sure if the system was operating at that time, since the road was free to use. I guess I'll have to wait to find out if I get anything in my mail box
-
The question is, is the image clear enough to tell if the plate is german plate or NZ euro plate. But if they are using the latest and greates in technology then I suppose the image will be clear enough.

Got the same thing with scratches on the outside from bits of old glass left inside, Smith & Smith also replaced my window when my car was broken into few months ago.

I had a problem few months ago with a faulty air bag switch in the steering wheel, so the obc had logged an error a few times - it would still pass the check when I started the car, but the light would turn on again to notify that there was a logged error. Had to replace wiring loom in the steering wheel, cost me about $400. But as Glenn said, get it scanned.

Sorry to hear that man. Little shi*s. If it was me I would have gone after them.
