I'm with you (with one minor exception)1) E30 M3 Sport Evolution 2) E46 M3 CSL 3) 507 Cheers Good call mate.. Sport Evolution definately the best for me, and yea, E46 CSL is pretty damn hot... yet to see one in this neck of the woods however. M3 GTR is pretty cool as well.

what's the difference between the 2002 M3 and the 2004 M3? I'm all for the E30 M3!!!

Yea, that number plate thing should basically come off easily enough, and then just buy a surround like mine from a wreckers for $15-$20 (Like I did, mine originally had nothing at all there). When you get your europlates, they'll be undrilled, so you can drill the holes wherever they are on your new surround. M-tech2 kit looks exactly like mine from behind. Does it have m-technic stickers on it? although i'm sure it's easy enough to buy them and throw them on if they were fake.

sweet.. Cheers guys. I'll check them out.

There's one in Wellington owned by a guy called Norm (he's a BMWCC member)... Its in immaculate condition, and he's also got another classic as well.. can't remember off the top of my head what it was. He even has the number plate to match as well.

sweet. the place nearest me is A1 Auto electricians (i think) down Webb Street (off Cuba St). They did work on my Celica once, but that was a while ago.

yo. Just like the panel beater topic, I'm after some electrical work. Anyone had any good experiences (or bad for that matter) with auto sparkies in Welly? probably good to know bad experiences as well. Maybe a good idea maybe to have a stickie with a list of decent parts/service places in our areas? Just a thought. Thanks in advance..

I see that red convertible one all the time. Real Estate agent I think. Also see a E46 Schnitzer M3... Looks shithot, and the guy looks like he's in his late 20's, early 30's. Man, I want one of those...oh.. and I saw a 360 Modena (I know it's not an M or a BMW for that matter ) yesterday down Oriental Parade with some big aftermarket wheels (really suited it). The colour was a bluey silver colour.. looked wicked.

bummer about the experience. I didnt' have any crash repairs done, just minor touchups. Thanks for the insight!

Barry Mansfeild Smash Repairs These guys were recommended by the people at Shelly BMW. They do all of their repairs. They took out some dings, large scrapes and resprayed my kit. They did a very good job and did not muck me around (like most mechanics do). I don't know what a reasonable price would be, but was perfect for me, as they are based in the city.

I had someone spray my bonnet with the anarchy symbol once.. Man I was peeved off because 2 other cars were done, including a E36, and a brand new XR6.

I'm keen to get a euro plate surround - BMW Autohaus Munchen. If you do end up making an order, could you let me know. Cheers

I've found BMW Registry a good website to see what the different models of E30 M3s there are, the EVO1, EVO2, Sport Evolution, Cecotto etc etc.

I'm guessing quite a bit is involved with making the car roadworthy here in NZ (looking at the cost to get one legally on the road here in NZ), but what about frontal impact regulations, or is that solely related to Japanese imports? What else is involved? I know my uncle had to spend a few dollaros to get his E36 M3 road worthy.

Hopefully there will be a couple more stronger bands to pull the lineup up a notch or three. How bout the good old days with Smashing Pumpkins and RATM... SOAD played a couple years back. I can remember the huge amount of steam that was coming off everyone when they were moshing (was wet as fuk). Can remember them being asked to leave the stage.. that sukd... but they came on afterwards and went nuts. Good to see a fair amount of bogans here on bimmersport...

someone mentioned a Tamiya model paint that you get and use on the rear lights...
