  1. looks better than the e60. Even with shitty low res photo. *waits for e60 values to dive bomb*
  2. Must get that a lot in the bay of islands haha. I always try to peer pressure people into wrecking their cars. Me and 5 others managed to get this guy in his "worked" lancer to pull a burnout in the school car park last year. He was adamant he wasn't going to do skids and then 2 minutes later he's baking it up in front of 3 teachers haha.
  3. Dead baby jokes anyone???

  5. QFT. It's a status thing, just ask my mum haha.
  6. You're right, i think you are the most unlucky person in the world.
  7. Holy sh*t! That is so bad ass. 202hp Per litre "EVOMS EVT700 PERFORMANCE ECU TUNING for both 98 OCTANE(650hp@1.1bar road use) and 103 race fuel(730hp@1.3bar with sport model on and overboost fuction for track use) The car now have V-box tested with 98 octane: 0-100km/h=2.9secs , 0-200km/h=9.7 secs.0-400m = 10.75 secs."
  8. is there any TV coverage? Looks awesome.
  9. Thats seriously awesome, but if had that sort of money, i wouldn't be buying one of those. . I don't mind the dash, but that wood is disturbingly low rent looking. Should be much darker.

    E30 M3

swaps for 89 corona plus cash my way? Good luck though. Awesome car.
  12. Donut recipe: Drive your matte black Cefiro to an empty parking lot. Engage first gear. Valve Bounce for as long as you feel appropriate. Dump the clutch with full lock on and away you go.
  13. After working there for over 15 months i hate it haha. Truth. Roast anything is awesome. Indian is choice. Best fast food by far is Wendys. Honest to god i must have spent over $1000 there over the last 18 months.
  14. I hate those chrome wheels they seem to be slapping on every concept car that comes out at the moment. They look like they've come straight off a rice'd up 94 Accord.
  15. haha, i came pretty close to forking out for an AMG Racing Windscreen decal for my corona a while back. Would have been hilariously try hard.
  16. I thought e30 m3s were for chicks and asians?
  17. No one likes a leech. Seriously, you'll feel so much better about yourself if your not a dependent and can sustain yourself. Holy sh*t! Long lost twin?? I get crap for driving my rona and drinking the Do Bros almost everyday.
  18. In economics, an asset is anything in which wealth can be stored. Your car is a store of wealth, because you have money tied up in it. Cars are usually depreciating assets, so their value goes down over time (unless you own an e30 m3!). Which gives the false impression of it being a liability. Liabilities and depreciating assets are different things. Or in accounting (in a business sense), an asset is an object in which you have ownership of, and will provide you benefits in the form of revenue in the future. This may not strictly apply to personal vehicles, but without motor vehicles, how would most people get to work to earn an income. BMW's don't put you at a disadvantage. Tell the kid's in africa your at a disadvantage to them because you have a BMW and they'd laugh at you. It could be argued either way i guess. No one want's a liability if they can avoid it ( no one want's a mortgage if you have cash up front). You can avoid buying your bad ass bimmer but the happiness it brings to your life outweighs the expenditure on keeping it maintained. Or at least thats what your supposed to think before you buy it. Liabilites = bad Asset = Good BMW = good BMW must be an asset!
  19. No. Car's are assets, in both economic and accounting terms. I'm sure you can adjust to life as a student. You will have to. If it comes down to choosing between food or a new pair of jeans with what's left in your bank account for the week, your basic survival instinct should kick in. Unless your anorexic maybe.
  20. i know this isn't going to go down well, but sell the car. why go into debt when you've got a fairly valuable asset (that will only lose you money) right in front of you. You wont need it if your living in town. or save yourself heaps of expense and hassle and change schools.

  22. She must have been prettttty fine.
  23. Dunno if anyone is retarded like me and watches the breakfast show, but Paul Henry had an interesting opinion this morning. He said he is sick of the way cops act. The police are there to protect people in the community and ensure our safety and security. They have failed to do so by not getting serious with the problem until now. This problem has been going on for a very long time now and hundreds if not thousands of people have been negatively affected by these boy racer fags. Not much has been done by the police and they have not taken it seriously enough, until now. And what was the tipping point? It wasn't a regular citizen being killed by two people racing. It wasn't people being intimidated and threatened and being scared to go outside. The thing that changed the cops' attitude to the issue was one of their own getting directly affected. I dunno if i completely agree, but i think he has a point. Why has it taken this long and why does it take just one police officer to be affected before something gets done?
  24. Agree with the fact that any fit person should be allowed to join the force. Had that woman been given better protection (a tazer, or even a 9mm) that little prick would have got what he deserved, and she would be out there patrolling today. You can't expect the government to expect to fight crime if the cops don't feel like they have the necessary tools to do so. I say give the community officers (not traffic cops) guns after a mandatory amount of time... say 2 years after being in the force. But yeah, if you are pleasant to the police there will never be a problem. In fact they will often help you out as mentioned in previous posts. I was driving my mates around last night... speeding. There were 5 boxes of beer blatantly sitting in the car, the cop gave me the ticket didn't lecture me on my driving, let us keep the piss and sent us on our way. Respect always gets respect.
