Have you considered an e34? If you were to sell your e39, you could get a nice 540 like this for similar money. Then you're left with an awesome looking car that dashes to 100 about 2.5-3 seconds faster than your e39. You could always drop a 5spd in it too. Are you concerned about fuel economy or maintenance costs?

Agree that it's on a dyno, but that wheel spin chirp at the start is wired. Screaming NA cars are so much more awesome than turbos in my opinion. For example:

I've got some of these and they're really good for the price. Sound quality is great, and they're really robust. Only downside is they tend to fall out of your ears when running. It probably depends on the size/shape of your ears. I used to have some of these and the sound was awesome, but they are sooooooo fragile. I broke at least 3 sets trying to clean them. If you get them with a warranty i would definitely go for it though. They fitted in my ears really well too, and the bass is awesome.

I think it's a waste of time appealing. As stupid as the rules are - at the end of the day, you broke them, you got a ticket. End of. Also on the subject of stupid fine structures. The fine for no seatbelt is $150 when if you crash you only kill yourself, but the fine for speeding over 10km/h is $120 when you could much easier kill a whole family.

I really don't understand people with such exotic cars driving so fast on public roads. Obviously if they have the money to afford an enzo, surely they can afford track days where they can legally and safely thrash their cars.
