290000 miles even with an engine rebuild and extensive service history, surely nothing lasts forever Looks friggin awesome though

Isn't it pretty much at that stage now

faaaaark thats a good price. If i was after a car I would be making the trip down. Good luck with the sale, car looks awesome

I've never been a fan of that colour. It looks good on big luxury cruisers, but not sports cars. The Z4 would look bad ass in Black with some nice rims. The shape is much better than the last one and yeah, that interior is so nice. For the money though, I think I'd rather have a 335i. Its a better looking, more practical car. So I'm undecided.

I think this is the case. I was with a mate who got flashed doing about 62 in a 50 a couple of months ago and he hasn't received a ticket.

Haha thats hilarious. Sad to think people like that actually exist. Even if she was Cameron Diaz, if she was just in it for the money, there's no way I'd marry her for the long run. I'm shallow, but not that shallow. Using tax brackets and rates as of 1/10/08 Your net income is $48,602. After ACC has taken their 1.4% cut (going up soon) you are left with $47,711.6 for the year ended 31 March 2009 Your income to 31 March 2008 be $47,526 Net. and with an ACC levy of %1.3 that gives you $46,908 total. I have waaaaay too much spare time in the school holidays.

ahhhhh! don't tempt me! Good luck with the sale, i still think its a cracker car for the price. Is that Joyce road where you took the pics??? wonder what you were doing up there? didn't have anything to do with the long straight quiet road did it ?

^^ better example haha

god i love those wheels so much. car looks tuff but classy

that looks so bad ass, but for 40k i think I'd rather spend a bit more and get this: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-190576870.htm

I dont see how a sub 1000kg 1970s RWD tin can with no rear seatbelts, no ABS no stability control no airbags and crap brakes could hold up better in a crash than a AWD modern car with modern safety features. As for speeding, it isn't always unsafe. Going 61km/h on a dry straight well lit road with very little traffic is not dangerous and yet you will still receive a ticket.

awesome thank you

Hi Having some trouble with how threads are displayed: Here is what i see at the moment. I basically have to click on every single post to have them individually displayed in a thread. What i want is for the default display to return. I must have accidentally changed something in the options menu. I think it is an issue with the options button on the right side of the top bar above the first post in each thread. But whenever i click the options button my browser loads the thread URL plus the words #topicoptions. The options bar does not drop down so i cant change the display settings . How do i change it so that i can see all posts in order (like normal). Thanks for any help

yeah im a pizza guy so its really handy to be able to see what house your looking for, before you leave. Nothing harder to try and find a house at 10pm when its pissing down with rain and the numbers on the letterbox are all faded!

I ran my RCAs, Remote and Power cables right next to each other. Have had no troubles at all. Sound is fine. It could be because the RCAs are triple insulated and the power wire is 8g but its still sweet.

I think I also saw that same lambo parked up in Ohakune in July. Surprisingly they left it parked out on the main street overnight. I don't know what they were thinking, but they were lucky to not have the Raetihi locals come and bash it up. Its one hell of a 4WD ski wagon!

Just the other day a 50+ year old man killed himself and wrote off his brand new AMG (He'd just picked it up from the dealer). The thing was though, he was giving his car a thrashing on the back road 1 km from my school. Everyone goes up this particular road because of the long straits which are perfect for high speed tests. Now if there was a 17 year old doing the exact same thing, he would of been labeled a boy racer and there would of been a whole lot less sympathy for him.

I agree. That is completely reasonable. I don't know if anyone's read Maurice O'Reilly's Book but it basically talks about the stuff he got up to with cars in his teenage years in the 60s/70s. The danger he put himself in is insane. It's a really entertaining book. Have a read of some of the example stories found Here, they are really entertaining. Anyway... He thinks that Boys will be Boys and if you take away things like cars, they simply turn to getting their thrills out of other things (dope alcohol etc). I think he's right and whats needed is a better approach to managing boy racer behavior. We need things like skid pans around the country. Because we have jack all at the moment everyone just does their thing on the street. And I'm sure your attitude towards doing burnouts/skids/donuts or whatever has changed over the years Brian . Not every 18 year old will be as considerate or wise as yourself.

thats what i was trying to say. thank you.

I'm happy to consider your argument, but can you just explain it to me. No need to dish out personal attacks. I'm just trying to understand where your coming from.
-
Racing, i can think of at least one, over at the mount, probably quite a few more though. Speeding, I'm sure there are heaps that have died. Burnouts? none. I can't see how sitting there (stationary) with your rear wheels spinning is dangerous.
-
I agree that burnouts are annoying and they should face a harsh penalty such as having your car impounded. But i think they should be seen at face value. They don't in my opinion put people's lives at risks, least of all your own. They just destroy the road, and create heaps of noise and smoke. But yeah, your car, your responsibility to ensure that tools don't get their hands on your keys, so unfortunately i don't think an appeal will be successful.
