Cabby because it's pimp. And looks good. Another option is getting a dumpy E30 just for the shell - cheap as chips... And throw your good sh*t on it. Not much point in getting a working one when you're going to swap the motor anyway, could get one with a blown engine for next to nothing.

I reckon the rake on the car looks good, looks more aggressive when the backs higher.
-
Yeah sorry, won't happen again.. I get sick of the 'rice' things aswell all over the web.. But this is local and to a bimmer fanatic so morally wrong - The thing what gets to me is where the hell did he get all that Hartge gear... I've never seen those decals for sale here and hartge badges seldom come up. (Now now, I'm not wanting them to badge my car with!) Just seems like a very odd brand to stick on your car.
-
Wow, Vtec nismo.... Mean. How much that set you back
-
Just posting on the fact I've never seen a car completely decked out like that, The subtle 'nismo' badge on a Beemer I wouldn't post Or the likes of a TRD sticker on a Honda... But the whole car with decals + 'Hartge Motorsport' on the back windscreen + badges? Is it random buy a brand and stick it to your car day?
-
But Grant, On a completely different make I mean it's even got 'GmbH' on it!
-
Check it... Saw this Prelude down the road before, On the back windscreen it has 'Hartge Motorsports GmbH' along with the hartge badge on the back of it. On the sides it has silver Hartge decals.... So yeah, Honda Prelude - Factory tuned by Hartge GmbH...
-
Lighter than the original seats by a mile, not so great on the back support but a hell of a lot better on the side support... And when you reach to get something out of the back the seat will flex with you.

Good work so far... I'm going to be doing the same thing soon removing the M20B20 out of the parts car for spares. Started the 'project' car today and finally found out why it's sounding like a tractor, Not because it was firing on 4 cylinders - got that fixed.. But because some fool has only used 1 bolt on the exhaust flange just past the manifold Tell us if you come across any problems, make it easier for anyone else - thanks :thumb:

Thats why you gun it the second it gets slightly dodgy!I thought it was a bit odd when this random off the street started commenting about my shoes....
-
I'd be keen, Would prefer to see some pics first. I don't want something that takes up all my windscreen
-
They get my seal of approval. Nice ride and good purchase on the wheels.
-
Yes, But he'll purchase it back off the insurance company for some rediculos price??
-
Damn, Bugger that. Good move, gotta think quick then get the hell out of there - the last thing you want to do is get out of the car.
-
Helps when you tell us which version of photoshop you have piracy is bad mmmkay

I just pulled them lengthwise bending the plastic sill with it (bent as in will pop back into shape, not as in root the plastic) Didn't brake one
-
Seen the vid to accompany that? Car seems pretty damn mean. Love the random sideways at 100k's under acceleration...

Selling my blue sports seats on the grounds that I can pick up some other ones to match the rest of my car (Will only sell if these other ones I'm after are available) They are blue in colour, please see pictures - bottom left gives most accurate description of actual colour. Bit of wear and tear on the drivers seat and a bit of just wear on the passengers - most of it on the drivers. Would suit recovering. Everything works on them, rails are good. Out of a 2-door however can, and currently fit in a 4 door. PM offers. Oh yeah, They are reeel grippy and hold you pretty decently in the twisties/high speed sideways (can you say 'grippy'?)
-
Old door cards looking tired? Want a change in colour? Spice that sh*t up with these exciting TAN door cards. Features include - Door handles.... And thats about it. Overall they are in pretty decent, only one small (smaller than a 5c coin) rip in one of them in one of the rears. Slight discolouration (Thanks to over 25 years of sun) - However not noticed as it's occured over all of them. Overall condition 8/10. Offers PM. (Includes screws to mount them, use your factory clips from your tired, Crappier door cards)
-
Last time I checked I don't think people are getting them made currently.. best check with the management I'm seeing loads of 'NZHondas' 'Toyspeed' 'Japrace' stickers everywhere!
-
Yep.. Someone needs to get them sorted - Loads of reppin' needs to be done.

Thats one mighty fine car. Lovin' the Mtechnic goodies.

One tip would be to do it yourself, Providing your at least slightly mechanically minded it shouldn't be any problem. Everyone reccomends that you buy new shocks in the process aswell to avoid blowing out the old ones a few k's down the line. How to tackle Springs + Shocks. Back: Remove the wheel - jack + axle stand the car, Attach the spring compressors to both sides of the spring and lower the E30 4WD spring down evenly, unbolt the sway bar, unbolt the shock (bolt is facing away from you at the bottom of the shock) and voila, Force the old spring out with the likes of a crow bar.... From here you can remove the top 3 outer bolts of the shock from inside the boot which will make it drop down and out. Insert new shock in (the opposite of removal) Installation of new spring is easier than the removal of the old, Compress the new one then insert it then proceed to re-bolt everything up. Front: Remove the wheel - jack + axle stand the car, Attach the spring compressors to both sides of the spring and lower the spring down evenly, unbolt the sway bar then work your way to the strut tower (inside the bonnet) Remove the outer 3 bolts, then whole assembly should drop down, from here you should be able to pull the top of the strut out from under the gaurds. Make sure the spring is well grasped before you remove the middle bolt from the top of the 'strut cap' this will allow it to be removed and give you access to the spring. From here you can replace your shock - unscrew then insert new one into the strut. Put the new springs in (compressed so you can get the cap back on) then installation is the opposite of removal. Anything I missed?...

Getting the back out around a round about isn't drifting. Next time it will be your suspension thats broken, not just a airbag light. What Andrew said.

Yeah I found it was for the exhaust gas temp, but as for the sheer use of it, it's beyond me. That is unless my exhaust gases are cold.... Then I'd be concerned.
