$9100 with 2 minutes to go. Still a bargain at that price.

You will be happily surprised. We had a 750iL on the track doing a slalom course and it was only 2 seconds slower than my car. The brakes will need a road/race pad compound if you are going to drive it seriously on a track, otherwise, they are very good. The E38 has 302mm fronts and 300mm rears off memory.

That sounds like a challenge John. I've not found an Australian built Ford that actually could handle. You'll have to take our old tank for a spin and compare.

I am assuming that with that time you were doing the full track, minus the dipper. If so, that is a very good lap-time. The 540LE has done 1.55's around there as a bog standard car. The 206SP is running 1.40, the 348 about 1.47, and the Touring cars are about 1.33 Great track Ruapuna. I love it.
