It's called DSG in my car. And it's superb.

Sapphire Cosworth? Looks very nice. Much classier than an Impreza
-
Photo op at Lake Tekapo then. Have a great drive!

Oh, lock the 540 with the key and deadlock it on the Ferry. Don't use the IR key to lock the car. We didn't even get away from the dock before I got called down to the car to disable the alarm and turn the movement sensor off. And the sea was smooth then!

You're ruined for little cars now. You'll love the trip home!
-
I saw the car today. A mate has been driving it. It is a very nice car.
-
I'll start with the first two most obvious points of why it can't be compared to a 540. 1. "M" 2. An extra 100hp or 75kW

The car is here in NZ. Conrod is working with the guy. It's a very nice car. Also has an E34 540iS.

You might be wrong on that one Brad. That is an NZ new CSi (at least registered as one). Outside of the motor, I don't think there is a difference in spec between your car and Gerry's old one (this car). It is by a country mile, the best 8 series in New Zealand. According to the M registry, you only have the option of an 850CSi though. Not being an expert on the E31, what would I know?

Nice car. I'm sure you'll have fun in it.

Happy Birthday Gus. We hope you had a great day!

Someone do a comparison between Telecom's Blackberry plan and the new iPhone one for me. As I don't pay for anything, I'm not really concerned about the cost of the phone, nor the plan in essense. If I can justify that I will return at least a cost neutral solution. I'll order an iPhone. I would have a high data plan on Telecom as I live using my mail on the Blackberry. Having an iPod Touch already, I am dubious about the lack of a tactile key-pad. I know from experience, that the iPod screen is not easy to type quickly and faultlessly.

Probably for the same reason ours has a tow-bar, to tow one of the race-cars to the track.

What do you consider 'high' kms and why?
cainchapman replied to martyyn's topic in TradeMe discussions
I'm with Martyn, I looked and saw what is half the distance traveled on that M5 compared to our car. I wouldn't say the a 10,000km per year is high. I've had my new car 9 weeks and done 8,200km in it. You do the maths. -
Gee, I just got a new one. Should I be buying 2nd hand now?
-
12.5l/100 around town, 9.5l/100 on the open road with the 540.

Not true, Diesel emits more particulate matter and Nitrous fumes, not CO2.
-
You've been at the NOS too much Tim!
-
$1200, an absolute crock! The material cost of an iPhone would not be more than $100USD. And Martyn's description of the iPhone is the same as the Blackberry. Mine is a super sales tool and saves me heaps of time and shortens my response time to customers.

No different to any other day. Tamaki Drive was clear of trucks.

As Bridgestone once said "Real men smoke Eagers"

Going to look great!

I'm with Martyn, Vodafone couldn't hit the floor with both feet at the moment! I'd have already placed an order if they'd make an announcement. I'll probably just stick with another Blackberry.

No problem with Nikasil here. Westy is correct it was the Sulphur content in the US.
