i know, but im a sucker for bigger bolsters and thigh support.
-
excellent choice, glad to see someone else pick up a 3.0 to look after (and not turn into a track car). And lol at the brake rattle, all to familiar with that noise, had a clip missing from one of my front calipers.... its amazing how loud they can rattle!

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=1026957297 I actually like this car, shame the seats are comfort not sport, but the beige leather really goes well with the blue.
-
lol, think we have all made that mistake at some point!
-
is it triggered by a notched wheel, or a pin like the S50?
-
crack money though
-
er, what?
-
^^ this is what i'd do if i were flash enough to own one

I should've also mentioned my cats were replaced with a pair of resonators in order to keep the back pressure up
-
a quick google shows it mounted on the front of the head, with lines running to the engine.

M62 uses a remote filter factory, doesnt it? Could you adapt that system?
-
Better than my mates car in AKL which everyone seems to use as a touch parking target.
-
oh wow, they look fantastic on the touring!

Depends on the car. My 95 M3 had the cats removed, and in doing that both O2 sensors were also removed (just unplugged and connectors tucked away). Yes, it threw a code, but it also didnt have a CEL so the only issue was when it was scanned. Didnt have any drivability issues, not sure if fuel economy suffered as it pre-dated my ownership and quite frankly i drove it like the car it was so consumption was pretty high anyway.

ha, original owner obviously didnt care much for rear passenger comfort then!
-
Just under 5.4M long lol, certainly no bloody good here in Welly! Its a shame it seems to be a fairly basic optioned L7. High spec for any other car, but doesnt have the cool as full rear centre console or glass divider.
-
is it just me, or is this actually really well priced now for what it is? i think its time to add another 7 to your collection Dave http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-971824232.htm

Sounds like two rubbish workshops that arent familiar with the cars they are working on.
-
last one i got that wasnt genuine (but "OEM") was rubbish and far different from a genuine one. Just get genuine.
-
local dealer imo

i dont know what the ticking is, but warming a car up for 5 mins before driving is completely unnecessary and not recommended by any manufacturer. Get in, and drive it straight away, just go easy until its warm.
-
wish i had nice open roads to travel to work on, instead im stuck doing SH2 in rush hour to wellington. No car can make that trip tolerable or calming. fml.

i'd guess Imola red would be pretty rare, dont think ive ever seen one in person.
-
Same model and trim broski, just different color, wheels and grille (all of which are options). The bigger mercs only look good in dark colors, i feel the same goes for BMWs too.
-
in saying that too, the F01/02 vs W222 would have to go to the Merc, the BMW looks kinda bland in normal spec.
