Shall enjoy the initial test drive once the car is all back together.
  3. Lol! I'll give $999.99 for your other set of rims! Haha.. Only a couple K under the asking price... Almost could be an ONO there
  4. Same thing. Terms just changed for US Can market
  5. I think you should put it back in the car lol

    'THE' M3...

Inspection II Kit on it's way from States.. Along with Front Position Diff Mount (Thanks Drags :/) Sadly might get stung with that wonderful import tax. Ah well, still works out cheaper than purchasing the Oil, Filter, Spark Plugs, Air Filter, Cabin Filter, O Rings and what not else is in there through NZ Dealers. Subframe still 100%, Yus. DME sent off to the brains of Tom - That's probably the most exciting thing to happen this year. Angel Eye idea canned until I can be bothered with failing electronics if not done right. Anywho, just an update. It needed one
  7. Would be hesitant touching anything from that. Although.. Wonder if it has M3 mats. Mmm.
  8. I only changed my PP over on Saturday.. So had a few worried parents, friends, members haha!! I'd hope I'm not that sh*t a driver. Nz Herald didn't get the photos like stuff did though. Poor Car.. Such a waste!
  9. It's Sams S6 you noob. 4.2V8, left a lot of the JDMs behind! It never lost traction you see. Thanks guys. Appreciate it. Maybe we might see some more Euros lurk out there and show them how it's done just kidding but was worth it!
  10. Took the M3 down to the Ardmore Showdown, Wings VS Wheels on Sunday. Great day, had loads of fun with a good set of controlled, fun drags. Maybe this bunch on here will appreciate the beauty of an M3 wasting everything in it's path, but it seemed the ECC crew didn't support it as much... Tough sh*t. Results from yesterday. M3 vs Holden SS = Won M3 vs R32 GTR = Won M3 vs 2nd Gen Subaru STI = Won M3 vs Supra Twin Turbo = Won M3 vs Schnitzer = Won M3 vs Audi S6 = Won M3 vs E60 M5 = Lost. Pleased to have lost in the presence of it's big sister. For a Stock M3 (apart from a splash of black Plasti Dip) I was stoked to walk away from every race with a smile on my face.. and with the shock of the crowd looking on. Can't say the JDM boys were happy to be beaten by not only a BMW, but a Girl too. Fantastic day overall! Loved it and can't wait for more M3 will be heading down to HellBM for all it's maintenance (Subframe, Diff Mounts, Service etc) that I can fill up the budget with this week, so will be good to go. Man, that car handled it like a champ, and didn't even use Launch Control! Schnitzer came along too for some fun. She sadly lost every race entered (HAHAHAH) (M3 vs Holden SS - Excuse language)
  11. Probably not this bunch (no offence), and to be fair wasn't my bunch, but because I'm completely awesome, thought I would ask (the awesome part is a joke) Anywho! 1st thing: - Ardmore Showdown. http://www.ardmoreshowdown.co.nz/ this Sunday. I have been lovingly gifted two spare Competitor entries to the day from the Ardmore Showdown Team. I had a few more, but my ECC members took them. This gets you and your vehicle entry into the Show n Shine, Drags, Burnouts, Gymkhana for free How fantastic. So would any lovely members like to snatch these two up? I will be down there with my M3.. it will probably be parked up, I'm not the street racer type drag girl unfortunately. Registration is between 7-9am. Leave there at 5. Car parks in the whole day. Awards on the day for those who want it, and if you want to drag, you need a helmet. You will need to meet with me on the day to grab them. 2nd thing: - Bayswater Auto Show! The lovely organisers have warmly invited myself and the club (at this stage ECC) through to the event. It's FREE entry for Exhibitors (eg you) and has a taste of all things auto. Loads of awards as well and the best part is that it is Family Friendly, yay! If you would like to fill this nice event up with some BMW's, please be sure to register! Link: http://www.schoolground.co.nz/bayswaterautoshow/128134/ Mention you are with Euro Car Club NZ and you can be parked with some other Euros.. Or you can be a loner, that's cool too! I have attached the flyer. So Tickets x 2 - anybody? Entry to the Autoshow, open to all Edit: Links help. Dur
  12. Haha good job Raerae. 10.1 in Schnitzer Daily driver, spouts of traffic. 10.8L/100km in the M3. Spirited open road driving with very rare occasion in traffic.

    'THE' M3...

The HK Setup in the M3 is great. It's 12/13 year old speaker rock on better than my 8 month old speakers. No door rattles (odd?) If I could find a replacement for the rear deck speaker that is blown, I wouldn't need to touch anything else to keep my happy in that car. To be fair, most of the time the window is down while I play around with gears and exhaust notes
  14. I'll wave to you as I pass you in my SMG changing gears with one hand and just *that* much faster

My fetish is bass. And if my car falls apart before I reach my content level, I cry. My trip to and from work each day in the Schnizzer is almost like bass suicide. Doors rattle before the speakers do

    'THE' M3...

Should note, current system par one speaker blown on the rear deck in the M3 is awesome - no issues with it which Is why I want to keep it..

Did that by upgrading Schnitzer to Alpine Type R. Worst decision I ever made. And I spent a lot of money (over 1k) on that set up. Wasn't happy with the sh*t sound as speakers placed in Door cards, not the panel.. Put a basic set up with Kenwood in my E36 and you could hear me bumping along the Motorway it was that good. Big flaw design if the E46s and if the M3 is anything like that, I will personally murder myself replacing them.

    'THE' M3...

My HK is better than my Type R Alpine I spent on the Schnitzer........ Which is why I probably would. Unless there is an alternative that keeps the car looking simplistic and stock inside with great sounds and won't cost huge $$ to work in with the HK Amp etc

    'THE' M3...

Oh forgot this was the M3 thread. Plans: - Subframe Reinforcement - Inspection II - CSL DME Upgrade - Suspension Set up to ride lower - Wire in Angel Eyes Those are the things that will be done over the next couple months. In future - Wheels, Looking at a few - Full Respray (Maybe Wrap?) - Exhaust (Agency?) - Potential Sound Upgrade if the HK parts become available And then the Ideastosuperchargeorturbobecauseeveryonedreams Yeah there's a list somewhere around the house and it's an A4 page long, it's had the basics done like Diff Service, Interior Trim fix, New SMG shifter, New Boot with Spoiler, reversing lights no cloudy, tinted indicators, black out, Carbon Supreme tint.. Not a lot but only owned it since the beginning of December....

Yup I did. And I noticed the ECC Award winner in one of the months mags also. It's a very instance for them to cover euro.. And even then it was nice full page spreads about them.

I have a family, with children, with educations to pay for And an M3 to maintain - we'll pretend that's the other child. Unfortunately just can't do it.

    'THE' M3...

Go to the Playday on track days Track day sorted for those who actually want to pay to play. As a club, I would never fork out a few thousand for a track where we might not get enough people to pay the cost of hiring it out. I have my own cars to pay for sadly. Maybe if I was a millionaire with a bit of spare cash chilling around. Show n shines are easily affordable for both members/public to attend and organisers to run. I'll let you know when I win lotto and hold a track day.

I picked up the Jan and Feb copy of NZPC and emailed and asked where the Modern Performance/Euros were. They said to purchase the Classic Car mag. Uh.. Righto. I guess their markets points to the generation of Turbos and drifters. However the Editor just picked up a clean as f**k E46 M3 for his Mrs.. So maybe it will convert him. Slightly. Hopefully. Maybe. Didn't even know about speed hunters until it was popped on here. Haha. I should cut my springs while I'm at it

I don't know about that... I know a few oldies who are headstrong and kept to one group of cars and bag anything else. Haha. I have an appreciation for both. I ooze over a new Camaro as I would the new NSX and an M4. I just don't know why people put a line there and have things against each other.. Sorta childish and odd.

    'THE' M3...

Haha Mike. Typical.. There should be more JDM owners like you! Would make the car scene one big happy family! It was an okay event, very busy. I think my Euro Only Event aspiration event meter has been bumped up.. Need something awesome for Euros
