    The bastard child.

I've been a member here for what, over a year and I missed this entire build thread. Holy. sh*t. Tis f**king awesome. Well done man.
  2. MISS BM

    Boom.

    Thanks for clearing that up
  3. Mm indeed. M62 I believe was rocked on in to replace M60. Now that would be a nice E31...

    'THE' M3...

Oh sh*t man. Hit my 1000 post mark today. That can't bring good things Thank you M3 and Schnitzer, for embarking me on Forum madness. Wonder how long until the next 1000 mark
  5. MISS BM

    Boom.

Imagine the amount of tyre kickers though. Fark.

I'd agree, like I do with the wise words of wisdom, but it must be working if people are offering. Set a high standard, get high offers? Idk how it works lol
  7. Thanks I couldn't remember his forum name haha
  8. Earth to Andy. You are requested for images.
  9. MISS BM

    Boom.

He has had no shortage of offers. But it's up to him. I listed the Schnitzer for 10k as a high price and got so much amount of hate, slagging and essentially bullying (like that on Xfactor Bahahah) that I pulled it off and said f**k it, she's mine.
  10. Don't slag it until you own it is the theory. No need for me to post up SMG beating manual.. Or to go into why. As above comment, can of worms. But certainly don't drag it off your list until you have - tested it on a track. On rural roads. Ramp light drags. - spoken to Ray @ HellBM who owns them and wouldn't be potentially creating the devil of an M3 wagon with an SMG box if it wasn't worth it...
  11. "For me a car is all about parking" That's has got to be the most backwards description of why to purchase a car, that I ever heard. Excellent. If I dare say so myself
  12. More like Black Beast now: SMG which I can't say anything other than I love it. In before manual troops arrive.
  13. MISS BM

    Boom.

Maybe slagging wasn't the right word, more So deferring potential buyers? Yes he understands his price is an interesting one, but as he said with me "market will decide the price" which is true.
  14. To be fair I have no knowledge on the worth of these cars. And yes, I can understand the High Ks idea.. I was like that with the M3. It now has 115km (72Miles) and I have started panicking haha!
  15. Yes I will be sure to let him know. I know this family very well and they are fantastic with their cars. I considered the 540i Msport they had up for sale not too long ago.
  16. MISS BM

    Boom.

Will link Sascha through to this post. He will be a bit upset to see 'enthusiasts' slagging his car off. Sure price could be too high, I will pass the wise words of concern on.
  17. Should add if you have an E46 M3, he would be keen on a swap
  18. A friend of mine is selling his excellent condition 850. I think it may be that 27k one. Well looked after, however not a CSI. Just some bits
  19. Indeed. That failing clutch, buggered flywheel and cost of slips and bills is what caused the tears. Let's note I unfortunately bought the car with said hiccups. On the open roads you got the smiles. Auckland Traffic is sh*t. So are Auckland roads for that matter. I'd much prefer to be relaxing in a traffic jam, than potentially gaining cramp from that damn pedal. DCT on track is great, manual probably more fun, but the focus for precision and quicker times comes with the DCT. In Auckland, to be honest, a DCT. In rural outback of no where, a manual. Up to you. But think now, the congestion is only going to get worse.
  20. I have concluded from this thread that A) I don't know how to drive because I have no clutch pedal B ) My car can't complete fantastic skids when needed C) I'm most certainly trying to fool people with my fake manual. Google isn't needed when you have Bimmersport opinion services at your call. I have driven DCT and SMGII. In both New M4 around a track, E92 around town and E46 SMG because well, it's my car. I used to have a heart attack when I thought I would have to drive my 328i Manual in traffic. I even cried once. Never have I cried from DCT, SMG, or Auto. In that, I conclude that many more smiles will come from DCT M3 vs Manual M3. But again that's just an opinion

    'THE' M3...

Took the old girl out for a spin last night, as you do in potential cyclone weather. Complete awe of the design and capabilities of this vehicle. Headed over the harbour bridge; didn't even feel the wind as we headed over it. I find the Schnitzer has a bit of fun when it finds contact with Hydroplanes, the M3 just acted like it was plain stretch of road. No mean grunts as you hit them. Unfortunately had to test the ABS system due to complete idiot with no license crossing my path and almost wiping out bus + Taxi + Me. Can confirm it works. All in all good late night cyclone drive. Rust bucket held up well hahahaha

    UK M3

Japan are horrid. UK are Rust Buckets. Singapore are Doomed. Guess NZ new is the only way it seems.... You can't just slap a label across the board and expect all calls to be the same. Buts it just seems that way with personal thoughts against or for on here. I own a doomed Singapore and a rust bucket UK and they have been my two best cars from the Lot. Better so than my NZ new.
  23. MISS BM

    UK M3

And that is why I said above that's it's cheap to brush ALL cars as the same. I know of the 850csi which couldn't get complied because filled rust after 20odd years on salted roads... But to be fair it's the only incident I've seen.
  24. MISS BM

    UK M3

Indeed. It was personally the price that attracted the attention. On that note remind me to never list the M3 on here, it's only a rust bucket after all
  25. MISS BM

    UK M3

Interested as to why mine is good then. It was imported at 37miles. More than half its mileage life over there. Was under the impression some areas of the UK aren't salted?? Fortunate my car doesn't have rust, but I know a few others which don't either...
