  1. T'is a beautiful car.. And sounds like heaven
  2. My premium went down by $20 a month after this incident.. I did get VERY angry with them and threatened to move.. Could be that... But yeah, still a potentially higher excess and loss of no claims bonus if you can't find who hit you (I asked)
  3. I've always had insurance lol I just wanted the person who hit me to pay out
  4. Repair Job - after my Insurance company telling me my car parts were fake ACS.. And of course I know what I drive so contested this by gaining confirmation from ACS in Germany through BMW Nz. Tossers.. None the less, opted for repair as ACS no longer make the parts for E46 and I was not going to be happy with a 'stock' bumper! Originally my front wasn't going to be fixed, but sent them through the video and they changed their mind very quickly! Lots of back and forth but finally done!
  5. Might consider a smokey look, but thought clear was okay for now Just ordered the Maintenance parts for her tonight, so hopefully here by next week, will consider it once the underneath of the car is perfecto again
  6. Well after a bit of a run around with the insurance company, finally got my car back! Not completely finished as parking sensors need doing but I needed the car back as having sold the white one didn't have a spare car just sitting, and insurance are paying for fixing that when I get it done. Anyways! Got my rear bumper and spoiler fixed, AND my front bumper and skirt! (Which was shocking as hell anyway) It looks fantastic, love the work done, looks like a new car! And all old damage that was apparent is fixed up with the claim so I sort of killed two birds with one stone.. And then of course a quick before shot
  7. Maybe I need to change my line of work :/
  8. Ebay.com.au Can use search function and will lead you to them normally. Also Ebay.com Just search CCFL or LED E46 Angel Eyes
  9. I browsed this option a while back. Around $6500 USD for Supercharger Alone, thats a fairly basic all round one to produce 365hp at the crank, and then there is shipping, Customs, Installation, tuning, deciphering whether the stock running gear can handle that much extra power etc etc. Just buy an M3. Seriously..
  10. M54's are great engines, and to my knowledge have won a few many awards over the years.. Not that it matters tbh. After owning a 540i and 740 (M62B44s) they do generally cost a lot to maintain, esp if previous owner didn't care about the car. I was unlucky and had my 540i stall in the driveway the night I took it home, and then gearbox went and just problem after problem because the previous owner never looked after it - and I was ignorant when purchasing one. Deffo have it checked over and scanned before you buy it! Haven't actually heard anything 'bad' about M54, seem to be excellent engines and enough vroom vroom to get you places at a decent rate. Also cheaper to buy
  11. Was in Takanini yesterday and spotted Silverstone E60 M5.. The number plate? M5 Girl Was nice and at least she was pulling into the Gull Station for some good juice for it
  12. Agree in regards to the clear clear ones.. I think best bet is that sort of Smokey tinge (I have them on mine) blends in so well with the E46's! Orange can make the car looked aged (old) but on some cars it looks amazing. Depends on personal style I guess And to OP, go for gold on whatever you want to do. It's your car so you need to be the one happy with what ya jump into everyday!
  13. Felt a slight heart drop watching my first and only manual BMW leave tonight. Ahh well, good home with a youngin who will drive it and enjoy it more than I did
  14. Sold Pending Pick Up. Yay for not having to use TardMe
  15. Hahahaha. Yeees. ECC is among more people than I realise. Good mod, adds at least 1hp that sticker
  16. +1 I like the lady there She was very helpful with my gazillion questions on engine mods etc
  17. Is that another Topaz I see? Where are they all coming from Noice car, I personally would recommend Schnitzer Mirrors.. Or maybe Im just bias.. Change the rims.. Make it look more attractive on a nice set of shoes. Tints can work wonders too.. But if you are looking to upgrade to a different car later on, do the bare minimum to keep the comfort of a daily driver without going OTT when all you will do is sell it. I gotsa manual E46 328i Factory if you want hahaha
  18. Dah. Blonde moment, forgot I took this photo behind the wheel of an Audi. Damn, brain fade!
  19. Mmmhmm.. Audi it is. How'd you know
  20. Random question / but are these leather? Or the fabric/suede type. Have been yet to hunt down manual ones in leather
  21. Why do you think I couldn't get a good piccie.. She was on a mission - to the mall haha!
  22. Who let their partner out? M5 wondering the streets with a female behind the wheel..
  23. Didn't even know a sellers form existed.. Could someone point me to where??
  24. Yes, theoretically anybody can. But no you shouldn't and eventually will need to back it up, plus you will get a letter stating disposal of a car and then wonder what the? And pursue it. How I know? Someone attempted it with my E38 and was successful until that sweet letter from NZTA came in the mail and I called them up..
