Hahaha! Sadly, I don't think everyone would get it

Its official now. This Baby will be hard to miss!

They are very red, not really pink But I have a dream idea for a M3 with pink rims. Now this would make a statement. Potential future project

This beast just drove past me in Silverdale. Holy mother of god. In love!

My 2.5 with Vanos is doing 9.5L/100km mixed driving, an M52 also. I am sure newer engines will be much more efficient. Spice it up a little and go with a few more horses

Thanks guys. Was going to replace with resonators but will can the idea now. Sent from my KM-UQM11A using Tapatalk

It was the last option given, first was to customise and remove my supersprint, but not keen to remove it, then tips are restricting so to replace them, but unsure on that either, so last resort was Cats. This was after going in. Im just making the job difficult by wanting to keep my SS. My question is what issues will I see by removing cats. Need to weigh up to cancel the job or go ahead with it.

Probably a question asked before, but couldn't find a lot on it. Wanting to do small improvements to increase the level of sound out the backend, not drone loud, but a nice, louder than now sound. I don't want to loose my Supersprint muffler as it has a really nice pitch to it (despite its odd looking elephant trunk tip). Just looking to increase that sound a few notches. In my 728i, I eliminated the rear mufflers and replaced with Coby's. Sound was loud, but a drone and personally not very desirable. So.. I have been in and discussed, and they recommend loosing the cats and replacing with small Coby resonators. Will this modification trip my O2 sensors, Being they are engine side of the cats? Plus the side affects of loosing the cats, increase smoke output on cold starts and fume smell? And I am sure it is okay in Nz to eliminate, but best to confirm with those who know facts, not 'I think so' Thanks in advance.

My airbags never deployed in E36 and E38.. Both well over 50km impact too. Blown fuse maybe?

I'm just waiting on Angel Eyes, HB4 White Bulbs for Foglights and something else - then I was planning to do it. Can organise a bigger date if enough interested...
-
Some sound improvements to be done..
-
Angel Eyes are ordered and on their way from overseas and White 5500k 9006/HB4 Bulbs for foglights ordered and should be here in the next couple of days. I have Xenon Low Beams, so will probably go through and look for White H7 Halogen for Highbeams, but at present, they can stay the same as I only drive with Fogs/Angel Eyes and then Lowbeams at night. Sorted Next up is Bushes.. yipee...

The Northcote area or West Haven area? I have personally been to both, the Northcote for a quick car shot with a friend, didn't work too bad considering it was a phone job

Haha that's a good idea.. A Photoshoot meet.. I have a few mates that are 'freelance' photographers that I could drag along..

Planning a shoot with my car before the summer light gives up.. And the question that remains is the best backdrop for the job.. I fail in the general ability of knowing anything about Auckland, so those who are photographers/have taken photo's of their car or had photo's taken, could you possibly share your insight into possible locations around Auckland that would be recommended for a great car shoot. It's not going to be an iphone job, but a professional one so need the backdrop to really look the part Thanks in advance and apologies for the rather off-topic question.

Plan for around the $1000 mark, I would say always over stretch the budget.. Fluid, which is expensive stuff as Ray only uses the right fluid for the job, plus filter and labour on pulling the trans out and putting it back in. I would recommend Budgeting $1300+.. That way you have clearance for the whole job. It's not a cheap procedure sadly. Best is to give Ray a call or email, explaining the situation and he can give you a quote accurate to your job. Does it sound similar to this: That was my 540i Trans... Sadly it is not really a situation you want to wait on, mine only got worse, and then revs started dipping badly.. You have to weigh up the end result, do the preventative work now. I did mine through Ray, as Julian said.. the Torque Converter was then sent to TCRS or AAutomotive to be reconditioned. This, with the resulting transmission service sorted the problem perfectly, car was a blast to drive after and felt fantastic... No sounds, no problems. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwSn3T-dU1Q

My passenger told them I was a Bmw girl and to ask me for help, and so they did.. She too, was clueless. At first, they got me to check their tire was actually f**ked (it was indeed, a whole massive stripped peeled back to the wire on the inside) and asked if they had to change it.. Ahh yes fella's, that generally requires a new tire When was there a special way to change a bmw tire?... Thought that came with the common sense you learn in life and is standard for ALL brands of car haha.

There was a traffic jam, everyone was staring at me jumping on the wrench to undo the bolts, and some guy in a Red E36 Coupe (bimmersport member maybe??) rolled down the window and handed us an umbrella! bahahaha. God, never thought I would see a women do a man's work, let alone me. I think their brains may have been on holiday.....
-
The wrong move was jacking the car up, and then trying to loosen the bolts (which were farken tight to be fair).. Politely told them to put it back down on the ground and step aside...

First Road trip this weekend... Went awesome on the nice cruise down, gave her some TLC with a Wash, Polish and Wax, and then sent her for a good spin but before that, we pulled over and (you won't believe your eyes or ears) changed a Bmw E46 tire for the 3 males that couldn't manage it. You heard right, my tiny feminine self, changed the tire of an E46 328i that 3 males could not achieve.. I promised I wouldn't embarrass them, but this was gold! Heading home on the Kopu Hikuai Road, and needed to pull over, and parked behind these Shore boys.. Hahahaha, made my day even in the piss rain. But had a good spin after than, headed off at Mangatawhiri as got stuck in crawling traffic, headed around the back roads before hopping on at Mercer.. Bloody amazing blast! So easy and neat to get around corners.. Would have been a good joy in a manual for sure..

That was an awesome read. "It's also worth remembering that the idea for the coupe came from the engineering department, not design or marketing" ^ That pretty much sums up the perceptional value this car places in the world of bmw creations. Perfect.

Second that - I was dodging Rain bullets :/ Holiday consist of washing, polishing, waxing the car.. Most people go away and ask for basic facilities, I asked for a hose
