Hey guys, Have made the decision that I have too many commitments and have chosen to take my running to another level instead of regreting it later in life, sadly that means no time or money to do track days seriously in the E30 like I had always planned to. So potentially I have up for sale some parts that I find no need for anymore. - 15 x 7 BBS E30 Basketweaves Little to no curbing, no buckles, just need a repaint particularly in the inner spokes, no center caps included, no tyres included. ET 24. $425 - MSNZ Schedule A Rated Fire Extinguisher I have two, both never used and one metal bracket, you will have a spare though I hope one would never have to use either. $50 the lot Don't really think pictures are necessary, are all self explanatory unless requested by someone. Cheers, Nathan

Looks good Ashkan, I might have a set of 15' weaves for sale sometime soon if your interested, keep me in mind when you are ready to buy some.

Maintain it. New spark plugs, fuel filter, belts, injector flush, oil change, new dizzy cap + rotor, check for oil + vac leaks, new air filter if it needs one etc etc Other than that don't bother spending any money on it.

If you get a manual or find a DIY online it is pretty easy. Won't walk through it with you as it has been discussed everywhere before. You need most normal tools apart from a bearing puller and a big pair of stilsons or a big plumbers wrench. A helper to put it in-and-out of gear everytime you undo a nut on either end of the driveshaft. Everything else is pretty self explanatory, just make sure you paint some marks everywhere before you remove and especially where you split it in half so the driveshaft doesn't become unbalanced. Hope that helps.

Hope you got my pm the other day dude, username change since then but anyway. Keen depending on price.

I agree with Ashkan, I really don't understand the appeal.

I put a larger 23/24?mm whiteline bar on the front of mine and found turn in alot tighter and sharper even when compared to a standard 325i bar with urethane bushes. To get even better bang for buck and make a new bar worthwile get new front 'links' or repress them in urethane, something I will do eventually, I have heard that it makes a huge difference.

Hijack/ If anyone wants some center caps I might be keen to get rid of mine (15 x 7 centers). PM me a offer and I will decide, they aren't perfect with a few scrapes but would come up good with a repaint, have newish looking BBS caps too. /Hijack As you were Andy

Don't worry man, you'll feel better when I drag you through in 72min pace for the NP half marathon Running fast > E30's

I personally hate Tech2 kits, but this one looks fantastic. Best of luck with the sale Graham, hope you get what your after.

^ Nah decided the sides are too intricate to get right. Atleast with the front there are a few easy landmarks to base angles off e.g. tow hooks, the door panels and guards don't have as many, so will leave the thin double stripe for now. Cheers

Sorry should have said Primera wannabe
-
Badass engine, shame about the boxy eyesore it's planted in
-
^ Tyres were free and I am strongly against stretched tyres anyway, factory size as well. Thanks though
-
Thanks for all the help guys
-
^ Yep. I know of about 4 M54 swaps currently in planning/construction stage, are a couple complete racing also. Including Dave (Silver Fox's one)
-
Same as any m5x swap. Best to use a E36 box though because I know of two 260's going bang already with standard m52 power.

Thanks again everyone, pretty happy with how it turned out considering how impatient I am. @ Paul, lets not take too many flashy photos I destroyed a wing mirror on Friday wheels need bigger lips and some general paint TLC, even though the WOF guy said it was the tidyest one he had seen in a long time Possibly going into storage soon now that it is legal and complete and I proved to myself I could sort it, so will make the most of it while I have it out and about, need to focus my time more on finishing uni and running some qualifying times. Cheers dudes/dudettes.

Okay sweet. The question I really need answered is where does everyone source it from?
-
^ Where abouts did you source it from Sam? Online?
-
^ Cheers man. Yeah I am mainly after it for the floor as I have removed the factory sound deadening during rust removal, finding it far to noisy to drive on the road already, and am thinking about not 'tracking' the car at all so looking for a solution. Thanks

Has anyone brought any of this before? Or know any alternatives? A lot like this: http://www.dynamat.com/ Have found the New Zealand supplier, but wondered if anyone has any personal experience. Cheers
