tell the guy to put some of his sale price on the line for a dyno. Expect that car to be pushing out 20-30hp less than what he claims.

wasnt quite sure from the whole princess bit... but the dice gave it away.. happy birthday Carl. Have a dozen or three for bimmersport. Cheers buddy, Andy

Next week will be putting up auctions for the following if anyone is interested. 1. Zinoberrot front driverside fender 2. E30 Facelift Lower lip 3. Facelift front bumper - great condition, black trim was painted by previous owner and has flaked a little bit, have given fresh cover of trim spray which has made it look fantastic. No cracks, good colour. Had a fair number of people contact me regarding the bumper so I thought I'd give a quick headsup before it goes to auction. Will post up auction details as soon as they go up. also have got a lot of miscellaneous bits if people are interested. If you need something from a 318i Facelift Coupe - give me a holla. E30 facelift taillight seal - good condition E30 facelift boot seal - okay condition, one cm split in one part otherwise fine. Carpet trim from around taillights

The engine in my wrecked car wont be in use for a while, I'm wondering what maintenance I could do to make sure it lasts the distance while its not running. It has been reconditioned and its a great engine, I just want to preserve it while its not in use.
-
thats what I said, I was questioned about it and I looked up and found yes its true. They were only produced in the US over a certain period of time I think 87 onward.
-
Just checked 'THe original BMW Motorsport' book .. and it says nothing about auto gearbox only 2 versions of the getrag 5 speed.

www.ltsa.govt.nz or www.plates.co.nz presumably.

I cannot really offer the club my commitment right now as I cant be sure it'd be 100% what with exams etc. but I'm happy if you'd like help with background things like events etc.

I had an arguement with my bro over M6 versus 635CSi's, me thinking they were the same thing and I was pretty sure the ones I'd seen were pushing out the same horsepower. Anyway, I looked in a book I have on BMW ... forget hte name and turns out the M6 was produced, but only in the USA funnily enough.

Mitre 10 mega, I actually done my spare taillight the weekend before someone pwned my car, and now... Gus that bogan does it .. before i get the chance to stick it on mine.. grarrrr! .

no doubt thats what chicks from feilding are like.
-
they're all stupidly expensive, you could buy a new engine for that price.

From what I've heard cam upgrades are only usefull as part of a proper engine mod setup, upgraded cam on its own wouldnt be that much of an improvement I would have thought, especially on an auto. Would a new cam put even more added stress on your gearbox. Change it to a manual already, if not - I have a fully recon'd auto for when you blow up your next box. some might get hte feeling I was being sarcastic, so not.
