    Quick Questions

I'm looking at getting some brand new 15x7's with 35mm offset for my E30. How will these sit? Anyone run wheels with these specs before, will they require spacers or have any rubbing. Cheers.
  3. umm if this is the one in Tauranga / Hamilton (not 100% where they're storing it) but if so, yeah I know the guys that own it. Why is it being sold, I thought they were going to use it.
  4. Hi guys, my E30 facelift model 318i broke down the other day. I'm told the engine is stuffed. So going to sell the parts off it before send it to the scrapper. - 4.10 diff that can be used for bmw series - disc brake rear end - leather door cards - smile headlights - Standard shocks - Europlate rear numberplate holder thing - Some tools in the tool tray - 14" mags with warrantable tyhres. - Lots of panels, 3 doors are fine, bonnet and front fenders are damaged - Glovebox - working sunroof winder - cracked dashboard - glass etc. maybe some engine parts like alternator, sump, starter, distirbutor etc.
  5. repco has them, but borrow one if you can.
  6. I went and saw this car. Tis a nice wee car, last owner thought it would be a good idea to use the valance as a tow hook which pwned it :S. Didnt see any rust, interior was pretty tidy. Had a new radiator put in, but was sold and replaced with another that wasnt new, just give it a check out before hand would be my advice, dont want to cook it. First mod would be lose the anchor on the back
  7. For gymkhana's an E30 318i (or NZ New 316i (1.8Lmotor) believe it or not. 318iS is too expensive and your've already gone one you dont want to waste, 2. they're ligher and more nimble, i got better times in my NZ New 316i with stock suspension on grass gymkhana's than all but one of the 325's / 320's, beat each of the E36'ers as well etc. Downside - would get smashed on tarmac. but at the end of the day - if you still want to... you can join the E30 series or at least prep one that could one day be used as one. The M535i was a bit of a barge but performed well in the Gymkhana, lots of torque, fair bit of grunt and even better on tarmac.

    F/S Em's m325i

Would've thought M325i's going to retain its value for bit longer than the compact.
  16. As title says - good condition - please. For an 84 318i - preferably in waikato or auckland.
  17. 10 - 15 hours of labour i was told by a BMW mech. Theres alot of variables for time consumption with doing E30 conversions apparently, thats why theres a 5 hour difference.
