Hey guys, quick question, Will be putting a set of Wayneys stainless headers on my car, and wondering if anyone has any ideas for a small heat shield to protect the spark plug leads, Don't really want to run the standard ones with the shiny stainless, so was thinking of either making some nice new ali or stainless ones,Thoughts? Ali will absorb heat much faster and stainless will hold more heat though. so not sure weather there will be any benifit to doing that, any one have any ideas for what i could do? Matt

it would be hard to get a glass one back in as you kind of need to bend in to get it in there, my first attempt i pulled the carpet off and covererd it and it looked terrible, second attempt i left the carpet on and got some ados f2 spray glue (works amazing) and a fleece blanket for $4 from the ware house ( looks like felt) and and sprayed the whlole thing and stretched it to fit all the contours and it came out good as,, imo the only problem the trays have is the stuped vents in the back, makes the shelf weak,, best bet would be to see kerry at mosens and get another decent shelf to just retrim

just a little 4k, but lumpy cam, extractors,ported and an open filter,wheel centers are black with polished lip now , loooks heaps better

just be careful that they don't use sand thats neen used over and over again on mind steel, as the carbon it takes off the steel can contaminate you aluminium!! thats why i refuse to use our blaster at work on my stainless jobs
