sh*t that sux bro, so wanted to see those wheels in the weekend, goodluck tracking the bastards down

I'll be having one too emily after reading this, keeps going round a roundabout haha , my sump guard sits at 65mm, and i hardly have any trouble (except on steep driveways and gravel farm roads)

but most of the slip on spacers do not have the locating ring?, but i do see what you mean and it makes complete sense. It will not be to bad with longer studs, but not as safe as standard size But then again people do machine the rear face off the wheel to get a higher offset wheel ,which i would say would be worse than longer studs.

Told you, haha , Matt's engineering knowledge > jasons engineering knowledge haha

you have to undo the seatbelt bolts on the side belts, the bolt at the bottom so you can feed it back through the hole, and the plastic covers for the belts, then just manover (sp) it out from there

Hey guys , Looking to redo the exhaust system in my e30 325i So I am looking for a Twin inlet, Twin outlet rear muffler box, most likely 2" inlets, Not a huge fan of the trade me ones as they just act as a resonator really. And also a twin in twin out 2" middle muffler. The new system will be full stainless but mild steel mufflers are not out of the question Does anyone know of a good place to buy one, or have one that they never ended up using? I would dearly love a Remus but they are a tad out of my price range. Cheers Matt

I Still think theres a better looking one in our driveway

Welcom Kerry, Let them know whats under that hood of yours , then wait for the drool haha Matt

I agree with Mike, would have been in there when you old struts were in there , but wasnt removed when you had the kybs put in, had the same deal with the corolla, Except i had to heat the locking nut to get the struts open which ment hot oil spraying every where haha
-
I had the same problems you described in one of your previous threads (about the steering locking a bit) As i don't know much about p/s and did not want to do it wrong and jepodise (sp) safety i took it to my mechanic and he had to flush it 3 times completly to gt the fluid nice again, He told me to drive it for a while and bring it back and he will flush it again , will be getting it flushed again this week, but so far it has solved all the steering problems, This will probly be your best bet, it cost me $70 ( but that also included a few other bits and bobs i had him do while it was on the hoist) P.s I would be keen on some of those 16 x 9's mentioned above

they are hard to come by, i have one on my 325i , and i just sold another one i had for $60, i was thinking about making a jig and popping a few out but time doesn't allow it at the moment, not impossible to come by though, just keep an eye out Also some models wont have the front bolt holes into the chassis so they will need to be setup to mount it

All fixed, had my spare radiator all fixed up with new seals and flow tested to get it running 100%, and still had the problem, drilled the hole at "12" on the t-stat and Wa-La all fixed , thanks for the help guys , much appreciated
-
Wow haha , there going to get some publicity with that slogan i would say , alot of it negative, but they will also get alot of buisness out of it.
-
I ended up starting a thread for it glenn link I am hoping it has come down to a blocked radiator causing an airlock. if not it will come down to a headgasket whick i can not afforduntill i sell my other car. droped it off thismorning to get checked over, and will have my spare radiator checked and flow tested etc and pop that in and hope for the best. the other thing it does which suggests an airlock is the temp guage likes to flicker all around . p.s would the impeller just fall off? if so you would hear a grinding noise wouldnt you? when i first got it going after i changed the pump and campelt and thermostat i had a whining noise, but it has stopped now , i just assumed that would be the belt setteling in. Matt

so it opened uo when i just boiled it , what next haha?
-
right , just got the thermostat off, spring side (toward the engine?) had water , dome side (toward housing ?) is bone dry, just about to boil it
