Your wheels make me drool. Top Effort
-
I have no problems what so ever keeping my wheels clean and shiny , machined face and polished dish, sure if you let them oxidise ( that would take a long time) then youd have trouble but nothing a bit of auto sol and elbow grease cant fix then your back to easy street again Edit: spelling

if you need another one let me know , i have one , not sure when the scrappy is coming to pick the car up but should be able to get it out
-

i have an auto box that you could have for a couple of dozen beers, BUT i wouldnt know where to start with pulling in out, my engine removal skills only go as far as lifting my corollas engine in by myself by hand haha , for some reason i thing the 320 gearbox would weight the same
-
Had the same problem in my car, to get home i had to floor in , then coast , floor it, coast ,all the way home.sloved the problem by getting a manual conversion , well worth it imo, Sorry i can shead much light on whats wrong with it, but it does sound like your gear selector.

i did mine a few weeks ago, have to pull the radiator out and remove the fan and all that, then the pump off the side of the engine and just follow the pipes back to where they go past the bonnet clip thing and undo it there, and pull the tubes and referigant canister out , no need to re wire anything, as its only an accesory kind of thing, total weight would be approx 15kg

ive got some with pretty much brand new tread if you were willing to pick them up in hamilton, $50

thought i'd add something i completly forgot about last night, a guy from work had the same problem in his e36 318i , turned out to be a stuffed pcv valve , dont ask me how or why it does this haha , a simple way to check is to take the oil filler (710 cap if its upside down) and put your hand over the hole , and if it sucks your hand in or blows it off it could be that. Glen may be able to advance on this to tell me if im on the right track.
-
mine has more of a rumbling sound rather than a change in exaust note
-
im having the same sort of problem at the moment mate (although on an e30) but it has turned out to me that my resonator in im exaust has given way , hard to explain why it does it but it might be as simple as that.
-
was just curious mate because he offered it to me and asked me to text him the next day and he never got back to me after that. allgood

on the drivers side by the bumper indercator the is a little plastic square that pops out with a screw driver, then you need the tow hook thats in the boot to screw into the threaded nut,, if you dont have one i can give you a genuine bmw one for a box of speights,
