Silver E30 M3 this morning on the Porirua Motorway,we both turned of and went up Grays road.Thought it was Lawrence at first but was not

with the ol M30 we have a problem.The NZ new 535 were configured to run on leaded gas,no oxygen sensor and a different ecu than the M 30 in the rest of the world.I have heard that the ecu is the same as the e28,wether this is actually true i dont know.

was also an issue in the UK,not in NZ AFAIK

my arguemnt against the change is stated before i think.The left turning car is giving way to the car coming from the right...so is not illogical.The new change is also illogical where you make an exception for the right hand rule for the guy on the main road. so the arguments for logical are out the window

the danger here is the car on the highway going 100 k has to leave the seal to pass on the left.

what are you thinking.I regularly put 62 litres in my 535,and i bet not many put more than that.62 litres at 7 cents a litre is only 4.34!

and how is that different to the line of traffic waiting behind the left turning car?There is logic behind the left turning car giving way,in that he is giving way to traffic on his right.the other change has some logic too but goes against one of the basic give way rules ie when two vehicles are turning right give way to the vehicle on your right.I reckon the changes are just as confusing as the rules they are replacing.

not mine i have not seen another black 535 is, there is a silver one.I wonder if it was Mr E34 s old one?

my first thoughts were 3 to 4.There are many e34s around still in very nice condition,so the paintwork will pull it down a bit,Interior is quite good.

the later one looks good value get a lot of extra for a couple grand,not the leat being hid and tv(satelite nav upgrade??) pity neither of em have sports seats
