eml?? could it be pcv(crankcase ventilation valve)
-
If i ever decided to buy an m car the choice for me was an e34 m5 or an e28 m or e39 m5 5.there is no choice for me between the e28 and e34.The E28 just looks so OLD compared to the E34,esp interior. And say bruces old e34 is even cheaper. Then i would have to decide between the e34 and e39,but i figure thats another discussion

whats the body and interior like on the touring brent?

i am not going to offer info on the jap/nz issue, but i guess the mechanic you were talking to was confusing Motorsport with the real M cars(ie m3 m5 etc...)parts for M cars are more expensive than the run of the mill models. The idea of Msport is they "imitate the real M cars

they will be working for the mall owners. As the owners of the mall they can make any rules they like.

e 34s have massive rear end grip (with lsd and good 235 tyres)

it will soon start blowing lots of smoke...certainly sounds like the pcv valve, common m 60 problem

i guess you have found that genuine parts prices are expensive. They carry a large overhead to help support the rest of the business i guess.i dont see why you cant approach your garage and ask the question. The other approach would be to give your garage the info where you got the parts prices from. I have heard that Toyota Prados arent exactly cheap to run either(sister has one)

i have one as a spare complete with basketweave type rim.We would have to come to some arrangement for a replacement but you can have it as a swap .All you need now is for 4 other 535 or 540 owners with original spares to come forward!

as stated above this is Ashmills (Bruce) old car.if you look at it i think you will agree its overall condition is superb reflecting a maintenance and care history that makes the mileage less important.
