thats true, but an earthquake is sudden......its not like you are trapped in your house with your family and you KNOW whats going to happen in the next few minutes
-
imagine.....you are trapped in your little town.....you are trapped in your house maybe with your children....the fire is coming.God i got a bit freaked out when our chimney caught fire...

chch will have some nice e34,s
-
i reckon thats the low end for a 5 series
-
in welly i think a car cover is asking for paint damage...just keep your car clean and waxed, forget about car covers
-
the 98 and 96 are the newer model(e 39) i think....most nice e34s will be similar prices now....i would say only the manual 535 and even more rare manual 540 would command any sort of premium, unless you have a very nice car like Arros,s old one
-
dont be dubious re the mileage, just the care...a well looked after 535 will be in between its 100 000 k cycles....and the basic engine will do much more than that.If all that side is ok you will be looking at suspension and or cooling systems, and again they should have been looked at too.I hope i dont come across as snob but i would think an nz new 535is will normally have a good chance of being well looked after, being just a wee bit special??

if only it were manual....
-
5500 prolly ok...maybe a wee bit high imho. They are both lowish k though.I would think most e34 are well over 200 by now if they see "normal" use check trademe,i think manual 535 are going for that, maybe higher ks though i dont think either deserve to be called m spec, they dont appear to have the body kit or the sports seats

why are so many of the e34 M5 white!!! No offence but white just dont do it for me...What is your opinion Gaham as an e34 M5 as a second car, occasional commuter...I have an E34 535 at present.Apart from the increased service costs would they be similar to run?
-
you are philistines....no pics of a nice NZ new E34 535is
-
agreed i generally run slightly lower pressures when commuting...its a wee bit more comfotable, but the hills and windy roads here is hard othe front tyre outside edges esp if pressures arent kept up
-
either 17x8 et20 or 17x8.5 et15 with 235/45/17 tyres all round
-
i run e 34 m5 pressures as thats the size tire s/wheels i have...i cant quite rememeber what the pressures are but its something like 39f 42 rear...
-
wow they must sit right out ...got a pic of them on your car?
-
fwiw i would be interested too.I wnt et of mats for the e 34.and i can get a good set from the UK but the postage is equivalent to the price of the mats!RHD mats are NLA from the dealer

kiwi535 replied to byza213's topic in General Discussion
or get the buyer to ship to picton where you pick the car up...but if you havent driven in the south island there is no better way to become aquanted with a new car -
i could....whats yer offer in security/interest
-
i can only think of using a company that does residential/commercial relocations...You should have some contacts there mate, dont think you would want to use that actual one though
-
my point exactly, not for me,but good price i guess
-
its an auto=NOT imo
-
no such thing as a cheap M car IMHO.....

the colour is often on a label by the front shock tower, but that can obviously go missing(if it was even there in the first place!)
