5 series are the middle sized BMW..a bit smaller than a falcon or commodore.A five series will normally have more oprions than a 3 series,but that also means more can go wrong.BMWs will prolly use a bit more fuel than the equivalent sized car as they are generally heavier,the actual mileage varies more due to driver behaviuor BMW have logical badging .A 525 is a middle sized bmw with a 2.5 liter engine.A 328 is a small bmw witha 2.8 liter enginea 750 is a larger bmw with a 5 liter engine

its a font thing.And i think its more than just speed cameras,i think it is also to do with upcoming things like camera reading plates for tolls and perhaps other things. The police are the AGENTS for the government ,they dont make the rules.They try to enforce them.No matter how stupid

m badge means nothing to me.There is only m badge to have and thats on a M3 or a M5.Debadge or 328ti

make sure your wheels are balanced and not bent,if thats ok then it will be new control arm bushings.(Control arm or thrust arms i can never remmember which ones) but it is a well known e 34 problem area.The e34 m5 or e 32 750 bushings are said to last better than std e 34 ones.It may pay to get new arms otherwise before you know it it will be a knock from the ball joints

you dont have to convince me of the whys and wherefores.I however would never do it.The nicest BMW I can buy is one that is EXACTLY as it left the factory.As far as i am concerned a BMW without a BMW under the bonnet isnt even a BMW
