are these BBS RS,s?You are welcome to try them out for looks.
  4. the blower problem could be the pollen filter is blocked.
  5. havent heard about the head bolts but have heard that the bolts holding the oil pump come loose... valve cover gaskets can leak oil down into the valley/coil/spark plugs causing problems pcv valve(hows the idle?) make sure the cooling system is up to scratch do you have a "shimmy" at about 90 km/hr or clunk from front end over bumps? Thrust arm bushings either e34 m5 or e32 750i bushings seem to last better than std e34 ones

  8. Since when has 39 been used to describe size ?They are always even numbers. sheesh Martyn.... its the D man the D
  9. Tried the UK Sparkle? From what I have heard, our E28 would have been the same as theirs, mostly because of the leaded petrol widely available there, only choice here.I think the early E34s were also the same, but after that i think we were virtually the only leaded e34 market
  10. was actually O2C39D but Carl has the ideaSheesh Martyn are you sure you couldnt work it out,I might have to revoke your card, and I am not talking about the car club

    HB Tane

    Happy Birthday Tane!
  13. ooops I just realised who I slated.......
  14. The real clue to throwing stars is the fact that the actual star peice is a completely seperate peice to the actual wheel, and separate again from the centre peice I look forward to the pics of the towbar
  15. is the tow bar concealed, and you plug in the actual tow ball part only when needed, through a removeable panel in the rear bumper.
  16. not sure i would buy a car off someone called skidz4me..is this the one Gus was contemplating?
  17. the v12 has massive tourque..... Max power: 300bhp / 220kw @ 5300rpm Max torque: 450 Nm @ 4000rpm very similar power to the v8 but the tourque......look on the net there are guys throwing these engines into all sorts of things.... course you could always look for a S70B56
  18. everything is close to town in Palmy

    my E46 328i

I think the e 46 is the only modern BMW i could buy...and the 328 would be top of the list.I dont like the bodykit ,but thats MY problem.Looks like a WRX clone
  20. keep me in the loop you two,if you end up getting stuff and Brent and I go to Taupo i will bring the stuff back.Dont know about the boot lid tho....
  21. AFAIK nikasil= US and UK problem
  22. try it i would be very surprised if it isnt adjustable
  23. personally (i will hear about it I am sure) I wouldnt go over 17,s and dont go staggered.....my 2c.I would swap you some bbs deep dish 17 for the throwing stars if they are genuine.I think most of the fives here have Mtech suspension which i think is only about 20mm lower than stock, make abig difference,no loss of driveablilty no worries about kerbs and judder bars/clearance
  24. a decent 635 5 spd could eat up too much Glenn,a 5 or 7 would be heaps cheaper an e 28 would be the go...
