You can tell by the seat of your pants...I am not saying you will necesarily(sp) get a power increase but you will get a performance increase,even my old M30 feels smoother,and more responsive and i get slightly better economy......I think my manual refers to another measure of octane AKI is the average between mon and ron I think....

i thought there was one or two e34 m5 too..or have they both been sold...?.

just the bits and peices we all need now and then...crc,spray on lithium grease,polish,wax etc......trying to find out about the zillions of cleaning stuff they had...hopeless.......they were all too busy over at the sony stand trying to destroy a sub.......... wanted to know if the spray on lithium grease was the best product for the sunroof tracks.....just that sorta stuff......

the fact it a "motorsport" means nothing as far as the engine goes(ie its the same as any other E34 535),but the box should be attractive........Brent prolly has the best ideas of value

if it is like the other two or three on this board I would say about ten max......and thats if you get someone who wants that particular car..There was one on trade me not so lomg ago i dont think it sold.You can get nice auto 535 now for much less than that...

Talk to your freind .If the car has been sitting for a couple of years in this condition i guess the damage has already been done,but I would try to flush any water out,Have you tried taking the spark plugs out and seeing if you can turn it over,check cam timing etc.....I have heard of flushing kerosene through to clear out water etc.I wish you te best of luck it sure looks the part!

the 740 might use less petrol than the 735.Some Alpina cars may have been converted in the UK by Syntners and the like(Alpina agents)It seemes like you can get as little or as much as you wanted.I found this out when i was looking at a alpina modded e34 which had only some of the B10 mods....

i run full synthetic castrol 5w 30 and from what i undertand Shelleys would put that in anyway.I use it cos i want the maximum protection at startup.I swapped over when i bought the car at 144000 ks didnt notice any extra leaks or anything,i run it for the full service interval of 10-12 000 ks,now at nearly 190,000

if you havent got verniers measure the circumference with a bit of string or wre and divide resulting number by 3 141 to get OD you prolly want ID

255 is nothing for an m30...... they go 500 000k but will require aome help along the way.Nice car just lacking the sports seats and doesnt seem to have the body kit...... They are a much different animal than an e 30.......

We all know(dont we?) that the wiring on the LH boot hinge is prone to damage.Due to my locking woes I thought i had better start with the obvious. The right rear foglight (on the boot lid) only works when the boot is open,everything else seems to work normally,ie locking and unlocking from boot and boot always is same lock staus as car. Lie down in the boot and release the "cable tie".Despite several attempts to undo it i finally snapped it trying to pry the little plastic lugs back.With a sharp knfe carefully slice the tape wrapping the loom .I was confronted with gliittering copper wire.There are 19 wires in that loom and one was completely broken and at least half have have severe insulation damage..It is a careless piece of design or assembly.The loom is tied to the parcel shelf,and less than 50mm(if that) from the last cable tie it is tied to the boot hinge with a hard plastic sheath.The proximity of the hard plastic sheath to the last cable tie means the wire is bent and twisted every time the boot is opened stessing the wires and insulation leading to the damage.Yours will all be the same.If you have any locking issues and or your boot doesnt lock/unlock the car/with the car,or have number plate warnings etc....it will be that hinge

i didnt mean memory stick as such but any memeory device.Our car have an aux button so there is a spare "channel" or is it part of the cd in...there isnt a line in plug on the front.....is the ipod our only non cd "storage option I am sure that i have seen a stereo with a "hard drive"

I want a new headunit too,actually sony was std equipment in my car...m MUST have orange illumination,preferably some sort of "on board" storage,cd of any description suck......are there any units that use"memory sticks" or similar with decent quality,and subtle looks.....?
