et 20 is standard,even with 8x17,does 13 put the wheel further inboard or futher out,i can never remember.....

where is the dme in an e36?..i cant think of ANY way,short of submerging my e34 to the bottom of the windows that the dme would even get damp....

in my case about 6 or 7 l of castrol synthetic an oil flter and a car clean,its hardly worth driving to repco....I took our little daihatsu to the toyota dealer..they charged me 100 bucks for the privelige(warranty).An oil service is more than just an oil change tho....

you could try disconnecting the battery for a time but i doubt it will work.The problem with airbags and airbags sytems is that they can be dangerouus AND they are a safety system.As such they are made NOT user seviceable...if you dont go to the dealer go to a big independent workshop and ask....if you decide to work on it anyway(the airbag system that is)disconnect the battery first......

h1 for low high and fogs.....I presume your bulbs are the equivalent of the hella and phillips 30 and 50 plus variety???I just cant figure out how you get MORE light without increasing wattage,i guess the gas mixture can give an efficiency increase but not by 30 or 50 percent. look up some lighting places eg hella they might have some application charts

maybe you could make the bulb application chart a bit more applicable to NZ .I havent seen many Buicks and crown Victorias lately,and 88 95 5 series use H1 bulbs not 9005 /9006.A bit more info on the bulbs would be good,too much hid hype for me!!!

i am going to see mike at the surgery and we will go from there.I am insured with vero,i dont think its going to be a problem where i go,aprt from the fact my new job is in upper hutt!The damage is hardly noticeable but i just want ot make sure its done right...I wish sometimes i didnt like my car so much!!!

yes i have heard this meths trick too..the alcohol actually absorbs the water somehow and it is "burnt" along with the petrol/alcohol mixture

Most of the guys at the bimmer info e 34 forum seem to think the exhaust and intake arent too bad for the stock engine...dont get an increase rpm limit for the old m30
