    Check this filth

That real estate agent certainly knows the benefit of hiring a professional photgrapher - wicked photos even if the house is a dump. Ever watched that show in the UK about people living in dumps? (forget the name). Places equally as bad as the one posted by Graham.
  2. Or re-drill the nember plate, and use the screws for the holder direct on the plate itself. Mine are held on with 3m double sided trim tape so that I din't have to drill them, and so the rear doesn't vibrate from the sub. Either way, nothing annoys me more than following a really mint beamer on the motorway with sweet kit, wheels and light upgrades and a goddam jap plate holder!
  3. Hey y'all. I've got a friend entered in a Fashion Quarterly competition. She needs your vote to win. Click here and vote for Alexa Peacock. Cheers. BTW if you want to check her out in person, she works at Trelise Cooper Kids in Newmarket.
  4. Odometer probably stopped working. Look at the previous usage and work out rough legit kms. Its an ok price depending on condition. I paid $3500 for a similarly specd auto three years ago, and sold another one (auto) for $2500 about a year or so ago. If I was buying I'd be looking at cars around that mark, but would pay more for a minter. Add some mtech II and a real minter and I'd be looking at 6-7k personally. But it would have to be a stand-out car. Then $8k+ for a mint motorsport or something really special. I'm pretty sure motorsports aren't fetching the $10-12k people were proclaiming they were worth a few months back. Will's tech I m325i has been for sale at $6500? for months now.
  5. I wish the imola red e46 was manual!!! Damn thats a good colour! Loving this thread. Makes me want an e46.

    Google Chrome

Another reason I like FF is that its built on open source, and the engine is able to be used as the basis for other web-enabled apps (Songbird is a prime example - thats one media player to watch once it leaves beta). Chrome startup is faster and I prefer the sleek front end - tabs at top of window, dynamic status bar, etc. Once firefox starts up, I tried a non-scientific test opening pages in each browser and there was no perceptible difference on my connection.

    Google Chrome

I'm hesitant for two reasons - I think Google is getting big to the point where it is going to pervade every application, and I'm not sure I trust one software provider that much. But that's maybe a little bit of cynicism. my real reason is I need a browser that handles client ssl certificates. Chrome imports them OK, but doesn't yet seem to deliver them to the client server. Oh, and I love my Googlepedia plugin! Plus it seems exactly the same speed as firefox to me.

    Holy cow that's some intercooling...
  9. I wonder if the first two words of the caption were planned considering Labours latest campaigning strategy?
  10. What'd they charge for the dyno? Have an off-roader that needs a dyno and I see on the sheet they are "4x4 dyno tuning specialits"

  12. Best "funny" on bimmersport for at least a couple of months! "Fixed" the Rick Astley one: Wikipedia:Rickroll
  13. I had a similar problem on the e30. Turned out to be a loose supply hose to the regulator in the engine bay, occasionally it would leak a touch and smell. Took ages to find - pushed the hose on properly and its fine. So I say check all your fuel lines and clips.

    Paint Blending

Blending is hard work. What you can do if its near an edge is mask right up to the flaked areas (give it a really quick rub with very fine (2000 grit say) paper only in that area), and then give it a really quick single coat from a good distance. The idea is to just get a fine mist of paint on - not enough to cover at all, then you peel back the masking a few mm and do the same trying not to really spray the now unmasked bit at all - just allowing a touch of overspray. Then you pull it back a touch more and repeat. Stop once the flaked area has proper cover, and what you have ended up with is a fade or blend with only one mist coat not even really there at all right on the edge of the delineation between the old and new paint, and a slow fade to the damaged area. Don't try to paint the area wher ethe fade ocvcurs - only focus on the damaged area - the fade will sort itself out if you are careful. The biggest mistake is to try and put too heavy a coat on - I cannot stress enough - it is a very very light coat - you may need 5 or 6 coats to cover the damaged area if you want the fade to look gradual enough. Except for with alot of practice you will have a little bit of a striped effect where each bit of masking was- that's where you use a light cutting compound/polish to blend the new paint and tidy up where it meets the old - don't be too fussy or else you'll take off too much new paint and it'll be easy to see. its hard to do and I have had a few goes and getting better, but no expert.
  15. Nice e36. Those 328i's are fun cars. There's a strong Wellington crowd. Should be able to sort you out. Welcome!
  16. Nice work Alex. I'm with the Spargo - last one pwns.
  17. navara? Used to be a good wagon 20yrs ago. I had one (1986) and used to rape the tits off it, and couldn't kill it.
  18. Very cool marketing idea. Submit your modified bmw to BMW USA and see if it makes the website.
  19. At PC online go to the external hard drives page, and then click the drop down list for Show: All Brands and select P.O.S. (Piece's Of sh*t???) All unknown brand names and generics lol.
  20. That's still a good price at DSE, and a decent brand too.
  21. not true... there are some very good landcruisers and patrols in my local 4x4 club, but as a rule, hiluxes, safaris and suzukis rule. Although I have a Daihatsu and it isn't half bad. Will give espanda a gander aswell.
  22. Yeah - should be clarified - its not the shape, rather the fact that the 6x9 market is tailored toward the person that wants something pretty loud and bassy without regard to oveall sond quality. They can provide bass in systems lacking a sub. However, better quality splits and a sub although more expensive will almost always provide a better result.
