That is one magnificent E30.
-
I thought about checking that out before I bought mine. But the fact its a 4 door put me off.
-
Very nice.
-
Awesome, look forward to the result. I was going to make a Lexus V8 coffee table but havent got around to it, sourced a block though
-
Has the rear suspension broken?
-
I would agree. They are cheap too, around 200 ish
-
I wouldn't buy either, they just don't seem feasible being the lower end models with little power for their weight. Engines would be pretty tired, having to be trashed to get anywhere, and well being around two tones having done those sort of k's the suspension is going to be pretty knackered all around. My guess with those two cars you will find small vibrations all over the place and they wont go away until you do everything, fixing some suspension bits usually cause other issues to become more noticeable, so they are expensive cars to buy if you want to run them properly. Then theres the electrical issues that can appear. I just think its better to save more and get a decent 4.4L V8 model with well under 200ks. Thats just me though.

Looks fantastic. Enjoy! -
A two door 5 series coupe also would have been nice, but thats basically the old 6 series...
-
Those Remus' are worth it, try get one from out of NZ and they are over a grand. But I dont see the point of spending any money on a 318i anyway unless your building one for a specific track car class.
-
Ahhh Much nicer I must say...
-
Vaders? What may that be..

Sounds good, 2000 is a decent year. Pics would be good. -
On some levels 2009 was great, But for short brief moments. Overall it was indeed shitty. I hope 2010 kicks off in a better way now that I have a new career, car, and attitude. Should be f**king good!

Good watch.

Haha... yeah wouldn't touch that. Its been messed with. As soon as it has silly oversized wheels, and those uttlerly ridiculous leaky el cheapo after market front and rear lights it becomes waste of time and of MUCH lesser value. The owner clearly doesn't appreciate E36's for what they are so proceeds to make it better by ruining it with pointless downgrades. Keep looking!

$350 worth of Autoglym stuff.

Both links are the same mate. I couldn't even comprehend buying a 318i that is trying to look like an M3. They are just sad! I mean, my Auto 325i is already sluggish enough, flat 8 seconds too 100, though once the 5 speed manual, exhaust work and tune is done it should improve to around the 7 second mark easily. A 328i would be a good choice, it is after all the replacement for the 325i. A mate of mine bough one, that extra torque is worth it, all you need is a M50 intake and it will pump out well over 200hp.

Wheels look too big IMO.
-
Looking good as always. Nice to see you still have it!
-
Exactly. An E36 Motorsport bumber would be the way to go if you wanted to change the front bar.
-
I thought this looked pretty good.

These sorts of units are better in 5 or 7 series IMO. Looks good however. -
M3 bumper for a 318i? Really...

Awesome article. I have an obsession with stock oem exhaust so this is interesting to read. I ran RS4 Audi mufflers on my soarer a while back, they were worth every cent with the Vacuum valves and stainless construction.
