Yeah it's in pretty good nick, it's all about condition really not k's I think most of its life it did motorway runs. Mmm the colour is certainly rare. Ive seen one other E34 on the road in this colour, and a new 645i that looked to have the same colour. It's actually what lured me into buying it off Ray when I first saw it... the colour was like no other - I just had to have it!

Hi Guys, Heres my 540i in it's current state. Not looking too bad, just saw I had these pictures so thought to post them up... Actually needed a wash at the time of taking these. Aesthetically it's how I want. I have lowered it with H&R Springs, fitted BBS alloys, Replaced bits of the interior, upgraded the Stereo headunit and rear speakers, removed the front section of the factory airbox and spend thousands on servicing it including replacing worn components which is still on going. Later this year Ill sort out some sort of decent Exhaust system. What do you guys think?

The kidney bit needs to be red IMO. Looks strange all in black...

Hahaha I did the exact same thing too when I put my HD in the 540i a few months ago. Worked out what I had done wrong after a a period of cursing.

Nice job Riley. Probably the perfection combination you got there! I have alway had a soft spot for the 1UZ, but only in the heavy factory cars they came with. Not that fun with the extra weight..

Welcome Robert. An E36 Manual 325i would be a good move. I recall good ones can be had for around the 7-10k mark.

Agreed. I love them. Though one must remember they are a cruiser, not a sports car for obvious reasons. There are a few people on here with them however.

Probably should have come down tomorrow to pick them up, I knew the motorway traffic was bad but didn't realise it was as bad as it was, took a good hour and a half to get down there via Great South Road and find your place in the dark But never mind!
