    Hartge 320i

The car is dereged and has a shot diff by the sounds of things. Engine and box feel/sound good though. I will probably grab the bits I want and sell the rest. Could be interested in the centre caps. A couple of more pics.

    Hartge 320i

Just picked up this car. Jap import 320i auto (mmm!) but it has genuine Hartge bodykit, exhaust and wheels. Not sure what to do with it yet. May put the wheels on my other car. They are 16in x 7.5in ET25 with nearly new Direzzas, missing the centrecaps though.

Alpinas are my favorite. The basket weaves still look good though........16's would look better!

Nice car, mind you I am a bit partial to the 4 door mtech 2!!
  8. The only good thing I can say about them is that they would probably be easy to clean!
  9. Could be worth a look if anyone is interested. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...on-85101264.htm
  10. Here's my pics, got a few more that I'll post up later. Enjoy
  11. Damn, I just put my photos in under the Chch meetings. Drifty325i, just after you pulled off after following me I spotted 4 of our members pulled over by a unmarked car. Might have been a good thing (for you and me) you got the wire stuck under your car!!
  12. Looking at replacing the viscous clutch, sounds pretty easy in the bentley manual. I'm guessing you have to take the fan shroud off and then undo the nut (reverse thread) from underneath with a 32mm spanner. Any hassles I am likely to encounter?
  13. Hi, does anyone have any mat clips that screw into the carpet, that they want to sell? For E30 mats. Getting sick of the mat moving around! Also anyone in Chch have a mint sparkplug lead holder and a under dash panel that covers all the wires? (not the steering wheel column cover)
  14. I asked that question on the auction but he never answered. Alfas are 4 x 98mm so I imagined they had been butchered. Nice wheels, I should have brought a set back from the UK. I bought some on ebay when I was over there for around 300 pounds but the seller said they got stolen from his garage. Bummer. I have seen 3 sets (genuine) on E30's down here in Chch.

  16. Anyone got one of these?
  17. Hi, I am after a interior mirror with the maplights which came in the M325i's and was on the options list. Let me know if you have one you want to sell. Thanks

    Panel filter

Just wondering if we should put these scans in as a sticky as there are fairly frequent discussions about pod filters vs panel filters etc.

    Panel filter

Finally scanned this in, seem to be having trouble getting both pages on one reply so will try two replys and see what happens. Page 2
  20. This is quite a good site for comparing cars.......http://www.carfolio.com/search/results/?terms=bmw Either scroll through the list or do a more specific search in the quick search box.

    Panel filter

I have a old magazine article at home (Performance BMW) that has a test on a heap of panel filters and pod filters. The test car is a E30 325i, they do a stock air filter to start with and put it on the dyno then go through each filter doing a dyno run after each change. Basically the best panel gives +2 bhp and the best pod gives +9 bhp. The k&n pod is the best as far as bhp and torque. I could scan this if anyone is keen. BTW the best power they got was at the start when the bonnet was open! Shows the importance of a heat sheild.
  22. Easy job to do yourself or do you need a press to get the bushes in or out?
