    Free sh*t

filler tube for the aux tank? are you able to pack and ship it? cheers
  3. i would be surprised if he was doing 100. half that would do more damage than you describe. side or front it would have been all over
  4. in though it caused a lot of trouble for my flatmates when i found out they drew all over the dates. thank goodness they could only find a pencil at the time
  5. Get a Lada .. or a Volvo. seriously my 93 Volvo 940 wagon i used to have had side impact bars, airbags, crumple zones.. the works for that era. saw one at pickapart as well, would have been a hard side impact and then front into a wall or something, the doors were concaved as and the front gaurds and bumper all smashed up, but look inside the car and save from the broken glass you would never have known it was in a crash. the 850 preformed even better if i recall videos correctly.
  6. sweet well i dont want to invest that sort of money in a car im only going to sell. so you dont think there are any more basic/cheap stuff i can try first?
  7. you would have thought people grow out of the "gangster" no springs look by 21...
  8. Background: Brought the car like it because it came with some goodies which i have removed. None of these parts are electrical, or in fact in the interior/engine bay of the car at all, its all exterior bits. Would like to get the car going so i can sell it, other wise off to the scrap yar i guess Car in question is: 199_ BMW 525i November 1990 build date M50B25 5HP18 Snow/Econo/Sport Jap import (definatley not a Jatco) VIN: BJ38495 Transmission computer part number: is either 0 260 002 163 or 1 218 919. one will be the case one will be the software. Simptoms: Old owner tells me the car was fine one minute and then transmission died never to go properly again, which leads me to think its an electrical issue. When it stopped going, the car was parked up and not touched again. this is what happens in each position on the shifter: P = Park R = Reverse N = Neutral D = N 4 = N 3 = N 2 = Reverse sometimes, Neutral sometimes Different settings like snow/econo/sport dont make a difference. D very rarely makes the car go forward if you really give it a good rev, but its not in limp home mode, revs wayyyy too high for that. what ive done so far: 1/ researched 2/ changed transmission oil, i think it was over filled to start with. 3/ borrowed and replaced transmission computer (was inside the drivers side kick panel if anyones interested), made no difference. 4/ ran out of ideas now im stuck. anyone have any suggestions? dont have my scanner anymore, was stolen wtf eh :/ thanks allfor the help
  9. over a 318i or 320i though which trademe is usually flooded with though.. sorry
  10. just read your auction, i wonder if you should mention on it that its engine converted and has close on twice the power of a regular e30? from the point of view of someone not familiar with BMWs and more importantly what engine is in which, how would they know? just a thought
  11. saw a blacked out E34 sedan in wainui today as i was doing my deliveries, looked really hot. think it had an M-kit on it cant be sure though. anyone?
  12. heres that euro 4x4 you need clinton
  13. as above. didnt notice anything wierd looking when you changed the gearbox oil? (guess who brought a syringe the other day )
  14. All sold, Racks also sold pending payment. will update original post with what i still have. price drop on schnitzers too
  15. did you notice how much the car sagged when you did this? i did this on my 316i as well, it sagged so much i decided to cut the car in half and turn it into a trailer. had it 90% finished just needed an A frame put on the front of it, but got kicked out of home so the scrapman had to come take it when i moved. even had the mtech2 kit and hartge wheels for it to match the E30
  16. shipping was around the $20 mark when i got them sent the opposite way if that helps?
  17. Door cards and M40 manual bits sold Hartge rims, GTRadial Tyres, BBS Rim and the steelie with 175 tyre all sold pending payment. Still lots of good bits left!!
  18. seen my thread? plenty of E30 goodies there, and some rubber for your tyre cremating car
  19. english? forgive me if its your second language, its hard to understand...
  20. agreed. My M318i was the most fun ive had in an E30 period. this includes the twincam as as fun as it may be im scared i will break it. Get any E30, throw a 4.1 diff at it and it becomes quick. Power is only good in a straight line. suspension is good everywhere. I really wish you had followed through with buying my 318i would have been perfect for you. went to someone else though unfortunately. The thing with suspension too is that all E30s are the same setup bar the front struts. if you get a 4 cylinder get some 51mm struts and throw it aall at you shitter. when you upgrade to a stroker or twincam or whatever, suspension is very easy to remove and revert back to stock so you can keep your goodies. 1 day max
  21. yeah i know they are on 525is as well, just put v8 so its blindingly obvious what i mean haha. I dont mind the 520i front end, but its lack of displacement behind it is obvious
  22. Need one to send to one of the stateside E30 guys. anyone have one for sale? is for the tank that sits behind the back seat on some southafrican E30s. Cheers
  23. I will get some when the rains (which have FINALLY come!!) clear. in he interim: They are E34 fitment, will edit
