do both the engines look the same? if so they are both M40s and yes they will fit 100% compatable

That didnt work for me on either door, key isnt the original so that must be why. seems a strange setup but i dont know how the handles work ha Now you mention it, I remember reading this trick somewhere, i will give this a try. Just jumped on the Playstation now (waiting for a stupid update atm) will try this arvo now ha thanks!

So i disconnected the battery in my E34 sedan while i decide to either fix it up or part it out. I want to get into the car now but its all locked up and the locks are electric meaning turning the key does not open the door on either side. Boot opens, i took the liner out but the skihole isnt punched out so i have no acess into the car. How can i get into the car? is there a way to pop the bonnet as thats also closed so that i can recconnect the battery? im just happy the battery is in the front in this car and not under the seat where it usually is.. PM me would be the best way for the sake of security of our E34s so hoodrats dont get this help? cheers, Andy

was the first proper mod i did to my black car, cost me $350 iirc. Bastards didnt wash the windows before they put it on though, and in some places it shows. Tip: wash the inside of the windows before you drop the car off in case they dont. I cant remember the name of the place but it was near to Ford and Tonys Tyres etc in lower hutt.

take the hex head gold screws out of the back of the cluster there is 8 or 10 and then pull the cluster in half, and you should be able to see it at the bottom. Edit for n00bness

Brought an E34 sedan to fix up. Has a schnitzer body kit which i have taken off and will be fitted to the touring. Washed the touring ready for roadtrip away tomorrow, paintwork never seases to bring a smile to me, i love calypsot! Took it to Novus too for a stone repair, will end up needing a new windscreen and no car for three days because they said there was a dodgy windscreen replacement in the past and they used the wrong glue or something which has brought up some rust between the window and the A pillar which means they cant repair the chip.. i guess ill find out when they take the screen out. At least its free - its on insurance

Yeah thats the same as my one, i thought there would be a better looking fit with hidden clips etc like tech2 on E30s, your saying the screws and urethane is factory? :S its pretty whory lol. Will be a jatco i think too, its a Japanese import. ill check the level in the tansmission and see what its like. i think it might be the computer though, was having a chat to the owner and he said it wasnt a progressive thing, but rather one day it decided it didnt want to go forwards anymore. Havent tried D, 4 or 3, but 2 makes the car go in reverse as well. Not sure if i will part this out completely or just take the schnitzer bits and fix it up to sell. will decide while im on holiday

So i just picked up an E34 on a bit of impulse with schnitzer rims and kit etc. Not sure what to do with the car as a whole, (might fix it up to sell or strip for parts) but the kit will be going on my touring anyway. my question to those of you with the kit, how is yours mounted?? I have this kit if there is more than one schnitzer kit:

i am considering converting back to an M20 engine just so i can have that haha

my one peice hartges are 7.5 as well, would have thought the 3piece would be at least that wide. assuming they are on the original barrels still? Who makes them btw? Ronal? OZ? i want to investigate how easy it is to get replacement barrels

thats cool. i had one in my silver E30 that i considering replacing with a standard one but then the car wouldnt match the buildsheet Best E30 wheel to use (havent tried tech2 though...)
