do the panels etc have the wood trim? may be interested depending on price

When you take it to a specialist for a service it do they just change the oil or is there a filter i dont know about? what else do they do? if its not very time consuming i will do it myself Not really having any issues with it except i have to hit 3500rpm the first time the car shifts into 3rd each day. it usually shifts about 2300rpm on other gears. Also its done 160xxx miles (engine has done only 60xxxkms) so i want to take care of it before it gets worse or something else happens If anyone has any recommendations of people that i can get to look at the transmission in my wagon and give a quote on servicing it it would be great (E34 M52 520i) Btw before someone says it, im not going to manual convert the car. I love automatic for a daily. Thanks all for anything you can tell me!

Do the first one once a month or so. its a good round trip from my house in trentham, car is up to temp by the time i get to silvy and gets a cool down coming home is the second one acessed via riverstone terraces? havent been over that way at all might have a look later maybe even tongiht ha just did this in the wagon a few hours ago... cant wait to go back in the E30 ha pretty hairy in places though

you dont need to do steps 4 and 5, the slave can come out with the gearbox, and there are no electrics to you gearbox (well you need to unplug the reverse switch on the side mind you). only other tip i can say is to use three jacks, one to jack up the front of the engine (off the sump, put a block of wood between the engine and jack) just enough to not lift the car but tip the engine. Must be done after the rear gearbox mounts are undone. The other two use front and rear of the gearbox, they are uneven weight. GL

i used to know the guy that owns this he has had it for years. Is a very well known car in the 4x4 scene. Destroys everything ha. seems on the side of too much power from what ive seen, but im not a 4x4 expert. It used to run a Camry gearbox iirc, he must have destroyed it and put the MR2 one in. He has a 750iL he dailys too

Does being over seas count? Seen a wrecked e31 and a texh2 e30 on the side of the road on seperate occassions, a 2002 with square headlights, some American spec e30s (with the huge oversize bumpers but still RHD), and most of the prefacelifts have tech2 wings. Thailand btw
