Just want to say sorry if i was rude, i was desperately trying to find a few things and get some water down my throat i was kinda shouting all day as the intercom didn't work too well through the mask and my throat was killing me. If i remember your name was Ash, i think you where in the black e30 rotary?

I know that wouldn't have been an easy call. I gave up going to the UK for the Lacrosse World Cup as a goalie for the NZ Team to finish off the racecar as it's was a higher priority to me. The car will give you quicker feel good moments but i hope you stick to your guns and make it to the 2016 games and thats truely something special.

Spotted... Wasn't it's a 100kph zone? We (MLM and Myself) where doing the Cannonball Run. We where either heading to the Mount or to the Tauranga Marina for challenges... The flashing light did work very well for getting people to move out of the way espically when it got it bit darker and it was very visiable... went from Bombay Hills to Albany without a single car blocking us, everyone moved over like we where the police or something... We where all dressed up and had evil mime and hell's jester and a funky 666 on the 3/4 windows.

if you manage to get your hands on one i wouldn't mind seeing if it would work on the 205... they have a screwy front arch so i'm not sure if it would work or not.

Oh ok, i was under the impression that at a given pressure a system with coolent will boil at a higher temprature compared to a straight water system. I only ask as i've see coolent refered to as anti-boil and also anti-freeze depending on the climate it's being sold in. Any idea on the thermal conductivity/transferance of a system with a 50:50 mix versus something like a 70w:30c mix? e30ftw: me? There is an interesting thread about swapping to an unpressurized system on the aussiefrogs forum: http://www.aussiefrogs.com/forum/showthread.php?t=74889

Glenn will no doubt correct me on this as it's information i've heard but can't seam to verify it's correctness (is that a word?). The higher the % of coolent in your system the higher the boiling point of the fuild, but the lower the thermal transference of the fuild in your system. If i get that right it means the more coolent the slower the water will heat and the slower it will cool, BUT it will have a higher boiling point than just straight pressurized water.

I got some Amazing Haste - Wax and Grease remover from Auckland Engineering Supplies the other day and it was fantastic. Did the whole car and used bugger all... The worst places needed 2 or 3 runs at it but it came very very easy. TMK Packers LTD make/distribute/package it as per the label...

My friends and i decided a while back for our friends stags that would like it to be a night for them to remember... Enjoy a few drinks, and maybe get happy drunk but not the dude can't walk or remember anything stag nights others seam to do. The last one we where at the stags future brother in laws where trying to get him completely legless by 7:30pm... It was a waste of a night...

you doing it in auckland? they have the free bike dudes in the viaduct... we blindfolded the stag gave him 5 numbers (only one was real) and told the driver to drop him off at Provador (we where are the old loaded hog) - we spun him around lots to dis-orentate him. and told the driver to give him the paper with the numbers and that he must use a females cellphone to call the correct number on the paper to tell him where to meet everyone... we where down the wharf a bit watching to make sure he wouldn't get in trouble and he only get cellphones from females... He was dressed in a long bright purple hippy style wig, a massive fake chest, with a very low cut top, lyrca bike shorts with a pink tutu, fishnets, and high heels and a wand. Was a very fun challenge for him.

I don't know for others but it seams the consensis is that 2009 was the shittiest year for a lot of people in a very very long time... personally i can say from having deaths of family members, deaths of friends, marriage breakups, long terms friends breakup, financial troubles, etc... i can say I'm am glad to be seeing the back of 2009... I am so looking forward to the new year and leaving a year of heart ache and suffering behind.... Anyone else agree or was 2009 a fantastic year for you?

the do 5, 8, and 10,000km cover... they cover my racecar for 8k a year of non-event\practice\testing\etc mileage..

I had my 306 broke into (no they couldn't make it into the car) smashed the rear 3/4 window and screwdrivered the drivers door lock... THE ONLY THINGS IN THE CAR - literly where 2 front seats, front door cards, steering wheel, factory dash (rev, speed, etc) the shell of the dash... no carpets, no sound deading, no heater box, nothing else... so yea you really have to question some people intentions

what like a 406 v6 manual or a 407 2.7ltr twin turbo?
-
Cam we where looking at that last night and yup it's going to need a trim from the bottom to make it not draggin on the ground but damm it looks good... E30ONP - nah i can't do that as i need the top flat edge to mount the lip to the 205 bumper...

1. Age Range - it's not many forums that you get a mix age groups as you do on here... It's fantastic! 2. Income Ranges - I love the fact that some people are talking about their $120,000 car along with the $500 first car guy... it's really refreshing to see... usually most fanboy sites are so target specific they only attract price range specific groups... if that makes sense... 3. Willingness to share information - You have people like Glenn that although it might cost them business offer advice for people to resolve problems at home... It's very rare for business to let go of intellectual property as freely as it is here.. 4. You sponsors - They rock... only a couple of forums do i know of that sponsors as active as they are on here... It's really nice to know they take an active role in the on-line discussions and provide invaluable advice to others There are a few other reasons also but those are a few of the understated ones in my mind... we the first two... Yes i've been enjoying my last day of work, and i'm well oiled so i'm typing lots of crap but yes... Bimmersport - you guys have a great club, thanks for letting me be a part of it for the last 11 months... I know many forums with many more members but have half the meets/events/activities and passion for the club as you guys...

I got one from james, it fits for what i want it for but it's not flat along the top. i was wondering if a heat gun could be used to heat and then flatten the top part to match the flat edge of the 205 bumper... the curve basically matches it's just not top edge flat.
