I think you are right, the exhaust ports are normally on the outside of the motor due to the heat ....interesting ... I guess it was designed to be a compact unit, easy to drop in on the assembly line and plug up the ancillaries. I am interested in how serviceable it will be and how they propose dissipating heat from inside the V because i know there will be plenty of it.

Happy New Year everyone. I just arrived back from the far north where i have spent the last 5 days in hihi, doubtless bay. It is a beautiful part of the country! Climbing Mt Puheke on the Kari kari peninsula was my highlight by far, what a spectacular view!! My New Years resolution - New Shocks for the 540i. They are getting pretty bad.

Exactly.The excuse doesn't fly with me either. It's such a load of sh*t. The article mentions that people buy these plates so that they can steal petrol, then it says the reason they buy the illegal plates is because of personalised plates cost being stupidly high. Go figure .... whats a solution here ....? I called the editor to arrange a meeting in the new year, pending Grahams progress ... I might try and get the real story out there!
