That is what I've heard as well from other sources, but it would be interesting to find out what people think here on the forum after trying both E36 and E46. Especially M3 wise.

^^^ So E36 felt far worse than E46, is that what you are saying?
  4. My girlfriend's E36 323i brake rotor looked exactly the same as this after metal/metal contact, and it was one side only too. The only difference, it was her front brake rotor. I've changed both rotors and pads for brand new OEM not too long ago (aprox. $300 GST incld). This usually happens when people in garage shops change rotors or pads on one side only as the other side seems ok at a time or by customer request to save money (without knowing that might cost them much more in the future if this kind of stuff happens).
  5. Love it man!!! Nice colour combination!!! +1 for your effort
  6. Awesome write up!!! Entertaining to read. Thank you.
  7. I have brand new StopTech Braided Brake Lines for sale. Here is some info: Stoptech® Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines provide a quicker, firmer, more consistent pedal response by maintaining consistent brake pressure. Additionally, stainless steel lines provide precision brake modulation, especially during threshold braking. The improvement in pedal feel is more dramatic on older vehicles where the factory rubber line may have softened and swelled due to age. StopTech® brake lines consist of a PTFE (commonly referred to as Teflon®) inner line that carries the brake fluid, which is then covered with a layer of stainless steel woven braid. The PTFE tube is very resistant to expansion under pressure and will not degrade from exposure to brake fluid. The braided stainless steel provides support for the PTFE and the weave is extremely durable against incidental impact and abrasion. Next the stainless braided hose is coated with a clear abrasion resistant PVC cover for maximum protection against chaffing and strain relief devices reinforce end fittings. Testing beyond the limit is our quality assurance Every StopTech® brake line is 100% tested in-house to a pressure of 4,500 PSI. This is almost 4 times the typical line pressure exerted by a production vehicle's master cylinder. StopTech® is a registered brake line manufacturer with the United States DOT and all StopTech® Stainless Steel Brake Lines are manufactured to meet DOT Compliance Standards. StopTech® Stainless Steel lines also meet or exceed FMVSS 106 and applicable international and EU standards. They are BRAND NEW with all the packaging and installation instructions. I want $220 including delivery around NZ firm for them. These are not cheap aftermarket replacements! Lots or racing teams in USA are running them at the moment. Would be an awesome upgrade for any car!
  8. I'll be honest with you!!! Mental colour man! In a very good way Love it!!! Looking very very good.
  9. Who bought it? Anyone from here???
  10. He would be gutted!!! Pretty silly crash too. I am guessing he didn't know the road...
  11. Hello guys! I urgently need a tool to remove an E36 Rear Trailing Arm bush. I will buy for a reasonable price or borrow for beers. Thank you.
  12. I have non-OEM glass from S&S and have bosh braceless wipers and yes my left one does not touch the entire surface of my windscreen. However I do not have any distortions at the bottom of the screen... your one must be faulty... you can apply for re-assessment from your insurer if distortions are great enough and argue that it is not safe to drive like this on the road and ask for an OEM windscreen. Hope that helps.
  13. Awesome looking E36!!! Welcome!
  14. ^^^ Agreed Lol It must be quicker! lol
  15. Really need to borrow a suspension bushes removal tool (for rear arms bushes) for E36 and torque wrench up to 150 lbs in Christchurch for a weekend or so. Anyone who would be able to help please? Thanks
  16. My final pick would still be AC Schnitzer CSLII
  17. ^ Same as above. There shouldn't be any other issues really
  18. Whats your next car Andy? I hope it will be BMW
  19. Goodyear F1 Asymmetric 2 are amazing! If you'll buy them you'll have everything… Very quiet, comfortable ride. Insane dry and wet grip and faster stopping distance. All F1s are great, but Asymmetric 2 are truly on the other level from their predecessors!!! It was tyre of the year as far as I remember.
  20. Just looking for a cheap NS60R/46B24R(NZ) battery for my daily. New or near new condition. Mine one died on me Cheers
  21. Hey Andrew. You can borrow mine, but you will need a laptop with Windows XP on it otherwise it won't work...
