  1. They just said that they will have a look at it. I have taken it to someone here in Christchurch if they will give me a good quote and will guarantee that it will work like new I will go with them. But I would really want to go with BOSCH to be honest.
  2. Looking for a second hand or a new Valeo alternator for S50B30 (for E36 3.0 Euro M3)
  3. Try Autopassion in Christchurch, they specialize in Euro cars tuning
  4. Ok so I've read you can interchange Bosch alternators in place of the Valeo ones, the only thing that is different is the pulley on it and some of the have threaded mounting holes and some don't. Did anyone here did such a swap?
  5. Thank you Glenn. I'll try to give them a call today and see what they'll say.
  6. Sooo after three months in a garage and one week of driving and 15 years of hard work my alternator crapped out on me. Its VALEO one... So my main questions, are there any proper alternatives (Bosch) I can use for my car (E36 M3 Euro 3.0). If I can, could you please let me know what they are. Also are they rebuildable and what usually breaks on them? If not does anyone have any for sale? Thank you for any help.
  7. Very interested to hear your feedback on this
  8. How much was the BMW battery if its not a secret?
  9. This guy is an inspiration! He knows what he wants and just goes for it! Impressive... Love the Porsches!
  10. That's good to know that it actually works!!! Yeah I have adjustable height and damper Konis now, so should work well after I get everything sorted!
  11. With a driver I guess I might as well put my ass in the car and track everything they are doing lol Maybe they will do a better job this way It's this lol Linky
  12. Yeah no corner balancing there for sure lol Found a place they said it would cost me $150 bucks! Is that a price people usually pay?
  13. Does anyone know a good corner balancing place in Christchurch? Just want to set my car up properly after my full suspension rebuild. Thank you
  14. Riley selling his car!!! Someone could be interested Linky

    Wow! Amazing car!
  17. They are Boge all around. If I were you I would just go for them. Usually they have life time warranty and they are very reasonably priced. They will also feel slightly stiffer as they are newer, but they won't compromise your ride quality...
  18. I am speechless!!! This makes me want to perfect my M3 to this sort of level, not that its too far away. lol Love it!!!
  19. How about this? I think this exhaust is much better than DriftMax or whatever it is... http://www.trademe.co.nz/a.aspx?id=524668074
  20. I would go custom! There are a lot of shops in NZ that can make a quality, well-sounding exhaust for a very reasonable price. Plus you can ask them to do any type and any size exhaust for you as you are not fixed on manufacture's specifications...
  21. I have White Line 28mm front and 22mm rear. I like them. Need very grippy tyres and good suspension set up for those to work well though.
  22. Totally agree with the above!!! ^^^ Electric cars have no soul as I would say. From my point of view they are not the future either as the disposal of those batteries is insanely costly to the environment and future generations. Bio-fuels and hybrids are the way to progress I would say, but then again I could be wrong as there might be something else entirely that is going to take over the World of cars. Although, using electric generators and engines in conjunction with fuel engines is a smart idea (brake power generators etc), getting rid of the fuel engine entirely… I don’t think we are ready for this as of yet. But this is just my opinon.
