  1. Hi Kris It needs to be diagnosed properly first before you start throwing money on it for parts. Ring and ask for Kevin at BM Workshop in Botany Ph: 2716636. As Jared said I'm retired now and don't fix cars anymore , even my own as I have other interests now. And yes I drive a Hyundai Kona now. Best car I've ever owned and suits my needs perfectly. Only complaint I had with it was the horn. I've fixed that

3.5hrs (approx) at 100c The most important thing is to get the internal temperature up to 75c. That's why I butterflyed it and removed the breast bone. It doesn't look like it in the photos but the two sides are flayed out to allow the heat and smoke get to the center of the chook

I'm into cooking too. Purchased my new Borniac smoker last week to replace my old modified LPG cabinet. Hot smoked brined Salmon on Thursday night and a butterflyed, brined chook saturday night. I also smoke fish and make my own Dry cured smoked bacon and rump steak
  8. No it doesn't. There is a specific book by Haynes for that model
  9. They won't do for your car and mines AWD with diff lock. If you can get wide enough ramps, drill 2 holes in the drive way or garage floor to pin the ramps from moving forward. Oops was thinking out loud. Ramps won't work too low. Think safety first when looking at using 2 jacks. I wouldn't. Another option, something like this https://www.quickjacklift.co.uk/ or this http://www.sulco.co.nz/Automotive-Equipment/Car-Scissor-Lifts/MOBILE-MID-RISE-SCISSOR-LIFT.html
  10. Some of the cars have full stone tray covers and access to a center lifting point is not possible
  11. Never any higher than the height to remove a wheel especially on coupes and convertibles and always keep the doors closed.
  12. Wurth or CRC . Do not continue to force it all the way out. It may me damaged or could be just dry tight because copper slip was never used on the threads. Try just puting a small amount down there so as to only make thread contact and just keep making small movements back and forth. If it starts moving more freely, start undoing but keep returning to the start position all the time untill it feels more easier to turn.. If your not sure what I mean, call me 021921377
  13. Have you tried any penetrating oil down the spark plug tube ?
  14. How many full turns have you turned it out ??
  15. Which number plug is it ? It may have been damaged when the plugs were taken out last time. Always use Wurth copper slip on plug threads when installing them and don't over tighten.
  16. I want $50ea for the Bentley Manuals and $35ea for the Haynes & Timing belt manuals. So as not to break the Forum Rules I'll call the others pretty pictures of interest as I'm unsure what the are worth
  17. Turbo's baffle exhaust noise, purely because of function & design
  18. Insurance claim ??? make it someone else's problem Edit... bit late for that now I spose
  19. That's not correct Gabe... CGA still applies under the Act. You cannot contract out of the CGA. Twp parties can still make an agreement but that all changes when the sh*t hits the fan.

  21. Vapor blasting is much cleaner and less invasive
  22. I've still got two sets of E30 / E36 Ti Camber / toe plate sets that utilize E39 rear suspension adjustment bolts and eccentric washers... $100 per set if interested
  23. 99.9% of the time 02 sensor fault codes are triggered by over fueling or running lean and not a sensor fault. They are the result... not the cause. The most common causes on your engine type is unmetered air (air leaks) in the manifold or crankcase breather system. Correct diagnosis is the key to repairing these faults. Using the wrong type of scanner can lead you down the wrong and expensive repair road.
