You need a few right angle tools do clean out the crap and you also need a clean surface for the "O" rings to seal properly with a little locktite master gasket. It is a very easy job when you have done a few and have the right gear. There is nothing wrong with the part you have purchased. I have used hundreds of those.
  10. You should always maintain 13.7 volts with a suitable charger when coding (flashing).....damage can occur to more than just one module
  11. The M44 had an inherent rough idle issue which could be overcome in most instances by a mod to camshaft timing. Have a look...just google : " E36 BMW M44 camshaft timing modification"
  12. Who helped you do it ? ?
  13. Check the back of the ignition switch plug for output voltages with a volt meter not an LED probe. Ignition switches are a known fault

You can't do it without taking the window and regulator out. The E46 Ci & Cab are the worst to do and I refused to do them after having done one. You also need to remove the outside door moulding to access the window regulator to window bolts and alignment mechanisms. You may find the need to also buy other new parts to complete the repair.
  15. All heart beat and hold your breath material ?
  16. What are the Italian's names ?? and capacities ?
  17. Hi Kerry LTNS . I'm really enjoying the vehicle thanks...I luv it. People really need to try something and understand how the features work in these vehicles before they criticize without even giving it a go or reading how it all works. Safety features are not automatically on when you start the vehicle. You can choose it to be on or off if you like. And you don't need to use the touch screen with most things while your driving if you set everything up properly. You can do it all through the steering wheel controls. It also won't suit tall lanky or over weight people and people with six kids. They will have to buy the appropriate barge to suit their needs. I enjoy it for what it is and what it gives me. Its small, fast, very well optioned, has AWD and a towbar. It's the best in it's class and priced well. It also handles very well with the good footprint of the Hankook Ventus 235/45/R18 square set up. I'm more than happy with the wet and dry handling. There is no slip, no lag and youv'e got instant 4WD drive traction from the lights which does seem to piss a few off in the larger engined tanks when they have to follow the 1.6T badge down the road . I'm also looking at doing the 25/30% HP & torque mod once it's got 5k on the clock. Guys are also doing this with the KIA Stingers overseas I'm told with some really amazing results
