The hits will be there for ever... these pieces of sh*t recycle water and oil quicker than a whore emptying your wallet. Then again the whore is your car emptying your wallet. If your concerned about maintenance and economy ... buy a Toyota and join a different forum or buy any of the 6 cylinder versions and enjoy the experience.

Radio is all world. Nav needs a hardware change. Check with Joe@Eurosurgeon

Squeaky brakes on your car is not normal if quality parts are used. When the car goes through compliance they will often change the brakes with crap quality components and they also never ever change the progressive wear sensors. Give me a call in the morning... (09) 2722546 Glenn

No.... I never said that... there were four scenarios I mentioned... access, body mass, experience and the right tools
-
The only thing that prevents this repair being carried out in a reasonable time is if there are any modifications to the vehicle in this area, the repairers body mass, lack of vehicle repair experience, or the right tools to do it. I'm 65 and I can see all the screws and get the correct tool onto each screw in seconds. Body mass is probably the biggest issue.

So many "Long Life" Items for BMW's..... batteries are not one of them.... and most of the others aren't either
-
I agree... would only be relevant if the car was not running.

If you have to start looking in those areas.....it's too late. Get someone to check it properly before it gets to that stage.

Don't even consider one of these pieces of sh*t. They recycle oil and water all over our high ways , your garage, your drive way and my workshop for our grandchildren to acknowledge that BMW was into recycling. Maybe BMW think all this sh*t going into our drains and storm water canals is one of the appropriate ways to do this Go for a E46 or E90 6 cylinder version

Yes we can... but it's more likely a fault with yours. We can check it for you and diagnose what the intermittent fault is
