I;m wanting to run the sound from a 22" 12 volt TV through a DVD FM car radio head deck using front and rear speaker set up. Do any of the makers do a head unit with audio in so it can be controlled by the head deck remote?

You cannot scan that airbag system, there is nothing to scan. The whole control unit is in the steering wheel. Either replace it with the same new / used. Or fit a non air bag wheel. There is no self check or air bag light functioning in the dash.

I have a set up here if anyone is interested.

It's one of three built to that spec that still survive. We worked on it last year for the previous owner, a very good friend of mine. He was a member here and has just recently passed away. I have quite a few pictures of it here at the time and few lucky people got to see it and under it

> Kevin.... don't by a petrol 4 cylinder N46 powered vehicle. The motors are the most unreliable and wallet emptier 's that BMW have ever produced. They are basically a water and oil recycling pump. The diesels and 6 cylinder versions are very much more reliable and more on par with the experience you should get owning a BMW -

None of you know whats involved at all. The inspection of the vehicle for a cert can take half an hour - 2 hours. The written report and documentation for the half hour- 2 hour inspection can take at least 1-2 hours to complete , edit and process.

Will need to be scanned first and work from there

I have the correct fuel hose type in stock & EFI hose clips

I agree with you Jason

The plastic hubcentric ring will not align the wheel properly with the spacer in there as well. Try taking those off, put standard wheels on and road test again. If the shudder goes away you need to look at doing something with your spacer / hubcentric ring and or wheel choice set up If nothing changes you need to look at steering / suspension

Gasket goo will not hold 2 bar pressure when the engine is running. You have a problem that you need to identify correctly and repair properly. You do not need and should not use a sealant to carry out this repair if done correctly with quality parts. A picture might help

"I am running the plastic locator ring & being after market wheels I have to run a very thin spacer upfront! Otherwise the wheel nuts hit the strut...." I would suspect your problem lies here Chris if the brake rotors are hubcentric and are running true, alot of cheap aftermarket ones don't. What brand are the rotors ?

No it's not Josh... It's the Bosch part number. The BMW part number should be on the label as well though. The EWS DME needs to get a signal from the EWS control unit to switch. I suggest the OP puts in the correct DME

I agree Andy... and alot of the people that have the knowledge to do things properly and have the right advise no longer contribute here unfortunately

The sensor is now worthless. The part that has broken off is the mount that the bolt goes through to install it in the head
