or learn to like the noise.Cheers
-
ahhh, but it is a good noise - mine sounds awesome now with the reconditioned box and the synth fluid, has a nice whine to it, couple that with the nice diff whine I now have since changing that to synth fluid, and my exhaust that sounds more and more CSL rattley every day, and my car sounds quite nice (although I realise that with my exhaust it is the beginning of the end for it).Cheers

I work as a Visual Information System (VIS) Consultant with software that we have been developing (quite a new thing for me, and a product we are still very much getting off the ground) http://www.infinitysolutions.co.nz/Product...Systems%20(VIS) Prior to this I worked as a Business Consultant for RDT Pacific (and then subsequently Infinity Solutions, after they bought out RDT Pacific) for 7 years. I started at RDT Pacific straight after leaving University (I did a Bachelor of Management Study with hons - majoring in Strategic Management and Marketing, and also have completed a PGrad in Communication). I got the job while drinking booze with the ex CEO. He asked when I was finishing Uni, I said 8 weeks, and I started straight after that. Hence I have never had a job interview in my life, neither do I have a CV. While going through Uni (5 1/2 years for what I did) I worked about 30 - 40 hours a week in a video store, and also coached junior squash. Cheers

I have the 17mm one, damn I'm an idiot, I gave you the wrong one last time. Cheers
-
Are you sure, its a 14mm one?If it is, then I have a 17mm one as well (I must have not looked and given you the 14mm one instead). I'll check my tool box and see if I can find the 17mm one. Cheers
-
Yeah, but I lent it to you, I assume you have it.Just use the tool that goes onto the socket ratchet. Otherwise use the bolt with the 17mm nuts on it and use that in your 17mm socket. Cheers

has anyone seen my car on the road since monday?
Grant replied to 1N STYL's topic in General Discussion
Who cares, mechanics drive their customers cars, get used to it. Just relax its only a car, if you don't worry about it nothing untoward will happen to it. Cheers -
is it registered and warranted. What do you mean by stripped out (i.e. do you have all of the bits you stripped out?) Have any photos? Cheers
-
Yeah I noticed that too, well done!! Cheers

Lego started going down hills when the specific kits started coming out. It was at its peak when you just bought a big bucket of bits, and let the creativity flow, now it is like paint by numbers.I went into a massive lego store in California when I was there last year, it was awesome. Cheers

I currently have none (haven't had any for a few years), but I did have to sit on 95 for a fairly long time. But a big chunk of them came in one incident where I got caught exceeding the speed limit by some margin. Interestingly I have never had a fine in my BMW and have had in for nearly 6 years. All of my fines were in my old Honda Prelude and Honda Civic. Cheers

Old wives tale. But I have heard that if you pull a funny face and the wind changes direction that your face stays that way (well thats how my mother always explained my looks and how I got them anyway). Cheers
-
Cool, I'll call them.Yup, I have completely smashed it. Must have been a big stone. Cheers
-
GiddayNo, Roy doesn't have any at the moment. Cheers
-
GRRRRR. I saw them too, and thought I should buy them, as this isn't the first time I have smashed one.Ain't hindsight a wonderful thing. I have rung 4 different BMW wreckers places this morning, each have said that that are hot property, and they don't have any in stock. One new one is $245 + GST from BMW. Also, thanks Matt for your answer, looks like I'll have to do that in the interim. Cheers

Hi All I have smashed one of my fog/driving lights (I had a bit of a 1,500km roadtrip over the weekend) and it is good timing as my WOF expires today. Am I still able to get a WOF if I remove the foglights completely for the time being (until I get a new one). Please can I just have an actual factual answer (I want to know for sure), not one that is based purely on speculation. Cheers

As the title says, I need the front passenger one (but if someone is only willing to sell them as a pair, that is fine). For facelift E30. Cheers

Debadging is the way to go. Nice car you have there, welcome. Cheers

Nana car for a nana driver aye Yup, I felt like a leisurely drive around it, it is perfect for getting the right lines for corners. It is a bit sad however that my best time around the 'Ring to date is in a Toyota Corolla - I am able to do lap after lap in it without varying from the right line and amazingly enough without going off the track. That time is 9 mins, 57 secs (I can hear the shrieks of laughter from here) I still suck at it, but I suck a little less each time.... Edit: I love that ghosting feature too, helps me improve my laptimes easily, as I can know my best braking points etc, and can try and brake later, accelerate earlier etc to carry more speed through the corners. Cheers
