Happy Birthday Glenn Have a grat day. Cheers Grant

Probably not. You will more than likely have the bigger front struts (51mm) ones.320i front struts are 45mm in diameter. The rear ones will fit. Cheers Grant

I vote you angle grind too, we know you love it. Cheers

This is getting way off topic, and starting to tread on dangerous ground. I am therefore locking it. Cheers Grant

Andrew has Jamex Springs. Also his car appears higher because it has a stripped interior (i.e. a fait bit lighter than stock). Cheers Grant

Yup, they needed cleaning up too, good effort.Cheers

Sam, what was deleted? I have been deleting a lot from the fore sale section lately - mainly any posts that don't directly relate to the actual sale. I'll delete 4 or 5 at a time, and am not going to PM or email each person. Cheers Grant

RyanI think that you will find that the price has been lowered from $7.5k to $6.5k (i.e. the first post has been edited). Cheers Grant

GusMike is right, they will be different at the front than yours...45mm instead of 52mm (I think those sizes are right). Back ones will be the same though. Cheers

Happy Birthday. Have a good one. Cheers Grant

I don't get treated any differently in my BMW than any other car, however when I'm in the Wrangler people are less likely to let you in to traffic etc. I actually think that the lack of respect that a lot of BMW drivers feel is a figment of their own imaginations. Cheers Grant

me too, maybe we could do a group buy???Cheers

I have no idea what it is.Cheers

Because this thread had got stupid and turned into a series of insults, I have deleted all of the posts, and if anyone has seen this car, then PM In Style. The thread is locked. Cheers Grant

I already had a 2.7 (but never a proper ECU for it).I'll talk to Taylors about the cam tomorrow. I'll let you know the costs as soon as I know. What I do depends on the extent of the damage, and the cost to repair. Cheers Grant

I agree - can't tell you numberr though. Just ring the dealer.Last time I replaced them, they were actually cheaper at the dealer than at Repco. Cheers Grant

not melt down, more an internal rumble.I rushed it into the BM Workshop, and they got straight onto it, and eliminated all of the obvoius (and cheap) possibilities. They have pulled out my engine and it is now at Taylors Automotive (they are the experts at engine rebuilds). I will find out first thing tomorrow what the actual problem is, and go from there. But it is most likely that I have had big end bearing failure, and that the crank is slighlty damaged. (the engine still went fine, but the noise wasn't very good). If that is the case, then I will get that sorted, and get the crank balanced and the flywheel lightened at the same time. I will also most likely put a lumpier cam in too, most likely a 272 degree one. The reason why I didn't just dispose of the whole car is that apart from the engine, and body the whole caris like new (new suspension, new recon gearbox, reasonably recent rebuilt diff, new recon steering rack, newish bushings, new engine monts etc). Also reasonable 2.7 builds aren't an everyday occurance, so in my opinion it is worth getting this one sorted properly. Cheers Grant

I have locked this topic and also deleted most of the posts. If you have an offer near what Emma is after, please PM her, otherwise don't populate the forum with pointless bickering.. Cheers Grant

And I am yet to put mine in, as I need a car before I can install them, and I won't be seeing my car for a fair while yet. But when I eventually get my car back (with its re-built motor), I'll let you know. Cheers

ur a dick, v8s pwn ur face!!!seriously! grant back me up! Consider yourself backed up.The V8 Supercars are awesome, and are some of the best tip top racing in the world. I watched the first race from about the entry to the pit lane, and saw them come off the hairpin, and over the hill. Those cars accelerate so quickly, and also brake so amazingly well. I watched the second race from the end of the back straight, and hairpin. The leading drivers are doing 270km/h on the back straight, and then only brake once they are almost on the hairpin. Also due to the controlled nature of the cars, the racing is always close, and it is basically driver skill that makes the difference. Three abreast in the hairpin always proves interesting. I have a fair few pics. If anyone is interested, I'll post them.

Just to let everyone know, every post that needlessly hassles a brand of car with no reaon, or with no constructive arguement as to why will be immediately deleted. Cheers

Aaagghhhh I wish, I have no concentration ability, I tried it this arvo, but it involves too much concentration. But it won't stop me from trying again tomorrow. And Gus, why did I know that you would have something to contribute to this thread.... Martyn, I wish I could blame my height...but as I am only 5'7, I can't really blame my height. I put the whole thing down to stupidity. Cheers
